21:30 Tom Poston "We haven't had any trouble with those 4 countries that he represented us in". Two months after this show in April, '67 was the rightwing Greek Junta take over. 7 months later was the border conflict with India and China, 12 years later was the Islamo-Fascist take over of Iran, 24 years later was the genocide in the former Yugoslavia.

Ambassador #3 had quite a voice! Then and now, he could have had a career in commercial voice over!

Peggy was wearing her Roaring 20's outfit. Bud always brings the show home on time whether he has to go slow or faster at the end.

Just an FYI: *Any* aviation question? Tom Poston knows *everything* about flying! Tom Poston was a heroic WWII jet pilot and was in Normandy fighting on D-Day. :)
P.S. There was someone on one of these who wrote that Tom Poston was afraid of flying. I just thought that was awfully odd unless his war experience made him so. (shrug) I never googled it or anything or replied; however, being a jet pilot on D-Day?? Who knows if he is afraid now, but I can't see why? :)

Just speculation: Could it be that Mr. Poston was either afraid of flying due to PTSD after being in WW2, or maybe being a pilot he was nervous when someone he didn't know was piloting the airplane?

My understanding is that Tom Poston flew C-47 transport planes. Including dropping paratroopers D-Day eve. Similar to what was shown on Band of Brothers. He mentioned this in one episode with a paratrooper.

@@stansse1880 That's absolutely true as I've seen nearly all of these and he mentioned it only as a passing comment when the subject dealt with flying on D-Day.
