I totally agree with the "too impossible" issue. Give the spectator some other possible method (however ridiculous) as a red herring. Otherwise, the only solution is the actual method.

I feel most magicians have EDC wrong. If its not durable its not EDC. Every day carry means its rugged and can last tossed around in a pocket with your keys.
I cant count how many "EDC" tricks I've seen that you have to carry on a seperate key ring, or pouch, or in it's own pocket. It's all wrong!
But Magicians love sharpies too and other markers like Harbor Frieghts marker far out perform a sharpie.
Dont get me started on the obsession with Bicycle cards...😊
