VW/Skoda Climatronic zones sync activation

- How to sync climate zones in Volkswagen & Skoda Climatronic unit. This feature will let you adjust temperature of all zones with just the drives side wheel. As soon as the passengers side wheel is used the sync is disabled and you have independent climatic zones again.
This feature does not require coding or adaptation to be enabled, it should work from the factory on every Climatronic unit that looks like the one in the Volkswagen Touran in this tutorial: Golf MK5, Passat B6, Tiguan, Transporter T5, Skoda Octavia...

what is slider next to temperature display ( the one going vertically from 0 to 7 ) used for ?
For controlling heated seats. 0 is off, and 1-7 is the intensity level.

Hello mr-fix. I havethis climatronic just without the heated seat. After a while I dont get any air flow through the air vents anymore. The fan motor is working in all stages I just dont get any air to the inside of the car.

its doing the same on mine and its driving me crazy
You select just the desired interior temperature and climatronic is taking care of rest (air temperature, air distribution, fan speed). Once the interior temperature is close to desired it will spin down the fan.

Hi, I have just installed a new climate control unit in preparation for heated seats install. I have noticed that the sync button is working the wrong way round. I.e before when sync was active the driver temp controlled both. Now the passenger temp seems to control both, and driver disables sync. Can you help?
Coding for RHD / LHD must be adjusted.
@mrfixpl that's what i thought. I have switched it but it doesn't seem to have solved the issue. What modules would it need to eb changed in?
Scrap that. Just put old unit back on did the coding agaon with old unit. Then put new unit on and now working correctly. Very wierd
Actually, now I have lost the heated seat setting on the infotainment display. Doesn't show anything when i press the button. The button itself shows the light
