My friend had an orchid farm in the Redlands just north of Key Largo. When he stopped doing the farm me & some friends helped him inventory the orchids...22,000...& then proceeded to attach most of them to all the palms surrounding his $12 mil. home at Ocean Reef Club. It was so beautiful to walk outside & see all the different orchids in bloom ( I might add that he also gifted all us helpers bunches & bunches of orchids as well...so many in fact that I gave about 40 of them to my best friend!)

Jen, you heard correctly. Forget that one leaf at a time nonsense. I personally would lose my mind. I take my six foot ficus in the shower and give it a rinse. Also take smaller greenery and turn it upside down and give it a swish in a sink of warm water. Set them outside to dry. A hair dryer on high cool works great on faux florals.

I work at a Restore and we get donated flowers and I have washed them in the sink swishing them around in dish soap and water and hung upside down to dry and it works great.

I’ve taken my faux ficus tree outside and gently hosed it down, to get the dust off! Of course I’ve lost leaves each time but it’s fast! 😆😁😆
I purchased my first live orchid 2 months. The blooms have fallen off and I’m not really sure how to take care of this plant. And I have a green thumb! I’ve been thinking of getting a faux orchid to display. They are very expensive at Homegoods. So glad you made this video! Have a blessed day!

I wash mine in dish liquid and rinse, then air dry on rack, rearrange back into arrangement when dry.
