It is just plain wrong for a 16-year-old girl to be dating a 35-year-old man. Probably one of the reasons why her mother agreed to it was that her stepfather Martin had done the same thing, although it had caused no end of trouble, and even inadvertently led to the deaths of two people. You would have thought her mother could have learned from this.
