I've been using S20 FE for a couple of months. Really nice quality of both pictures and videos even in low light. It seems to me that even in S21 FE cameras are the same (may be only ultrawide camera is a little bit better than in S20 FE). Thanks for your reviews. Very informative.
S20 FE is one hell of a monster in medium package. Best camera system on samsung phones. Sometimes I feel like it it better than s21 series in terms of camera. They are that good.
I took some night shots of the Christmas tree and the lightings on my S20 FE without turning on the night mode & I was really surprised by the excellent image quality! Love my FE ❤️

In Minute 0:11, did you put the Pixel closer to you compared to the S20? It looks way closer. Thats something im suprised of. Also - can the photos be taken fast like snapshots without being "blurry"? Ive heard that the s20fe has this problem so im not sure which one to buy ;(. Thx in advance!
I'm comparing these 2 phones now. Verizon offered S20 FE free, or $350 off Pixel 6 and I am torn. I have an OG Pixel XL 2016 now so either would be an upgrade! Thanks for this quality video

S20 FE 5G puts all other smartphone cameras in its price segment to shame.

Wow great comparison, I liked the s20 fe more for almost everything, especially daylight video and daylight shots with all 3 rear lenses. There was a few pictures where I thought the pixel 6 handled bright colours (especially reds) better and definitely the selfies and video at night but it's crazy to me how good the s20 Fe has held up all this time. Noticed alot of panning stutter in the pixel 6 videos too which is a shame, hopefully that gets ironed out in a update

I agree about samsung issue with the shutter lag. On my s21 ultra, it causes blurry images. It takes great pictures when it takes it on time.
Please let me know whether shutter lag is an issue with S21 ultra. I'm considering getting for its versatile camera, 10× zoom. Right now I'm using Galaxy Note 9 which has a good camera but shutter lag is almost always present. I'm taking pictures of kids all the time and take pictures while riding my bike. My old Pixel 2XL never had the shutter lag problem. If the shutter lag issue is present I might consider Pixel 6. Please let me know whether it's worth getting S21 ultra over Pixel 6 or 6 pro.
@@mah92lk I had the S21 Ultra for nearly 6 months. I took it on a family holiday and was impressed by the most of the photos as they came out very vibrant (too vibrant at times?) and sharp, but the one thing that slowly started to creep in was the goddamn shutter lag. I have two children that do not stay still and unfortunately a lot of the time the only way I could get decent photos out of the S21 Ultra was by telling my children to stay still as there was always this annoying lag. My wife has a iphone 13 pro and this does not happen with that phone, the camera experience is far snappier. I love the S21 Ultra but this was the thing I did not like at all. Also if you live in a dark place/country forget about it, especially with children.
@@mah92lk yes the shutter lag is horrible with this phone. It wasn't bad in the beginning. But it started to get worst as the time went on. Really don't know why. My pictures are coming out blurry at times. When I zoom into the pictures I see blurry areas I usually didn't see before. The s21 ultra still take amazing pictures but it isn't consistent. But I honestly rather Samsung software than the pixel.
The pixel 6 pro has no problem with shutter lag. It is consistent and takes great pictures. I just don't like their software. But if picture is your main focus, then the pixel 6 or 6 pro should be your choice.

I would have expected better from the Pixel, but the S20 FE seems to capture better detail. I notice the Pixel color looks more washed out as well.

Nice comparison. I have a S20FE and have been wanting to upgrade. I agree that the camera interface and experience in the S20FE is lacking. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of accuracy when trying to change cameras. I feel that I have to press multiple times before the phone responds. And more often than not, trying to switch cameras takes me to the zoom in/out option. All I wanted to do is to switch from normal to superwide. That being said, looking at the samples from your video, it seems like the photos of the S20FE are sharper than the Pixel 6. The ultra wide is also wider. I want to get another phone to replace the S20FE, but I'm not convinced that the Pixel 6 is it. Oh, and I do love the microSD in the S20FE.
Yeah the camera experience is lacking but the back camera is pretty good. Maybe wait for the S21 FE? It might be out soon

Unfortunately Samsung did not keep the SD Card in the 21 FE but if anyone knows a good upgrade from the phone, lemme know because it's hard to find lol

depends on what you need in a phone. But I would say the FE line packs a bunch of value for the price.
Yes, it's a great phone at a killer price. I've had it for over a year. I'm a Google phone fan boy (I've owned 5 Google phones) and this is my first samsung phone. Fantastic display, 120 Mhz scrolling, excellent cameras, incredible battery life. It's a winner, best flagship phone killer around.
FE rear cams are awesome but front cam sucks. But it doesnt bother me since i rarely use front cam. However, this doesnt looks goods for those who do selfies alot

S20 FE 5G has slightly better processing that S20 FE. Other than the slightly poor AF system(continuous AF and close up focusing) the S20 FE has a really good camera. Also the front camera is quite poor to be honest. It is ok in day light but in low light its terrible. I like the s20 fe in general it is a nice phone..

The S20 and S20 fe no longer receive updates. I recommend you save up for the S24, Google Pixel 8 or 8, which get 7 years of updates. Otherwise, if you can't wait patiently, then get the Nothing Phone 2a

Bigger camera sensor = better quality, better low light, better blurry background. Higher megapixel is good for zooming in and printing out big pictures to hang on your wall.

For most of this content I liked the pixel 6 more. I can't buy a Samsung either way simply because of all the bloat that comes on the phone it would just bother me. Even if the pixel was worse the software would make me lean that way personally.

Newer is not always better. I like the Pixel more for it's UI but I like the S20 and 21 series phones cameras vs the competition this year.
They are both great, but if you buy cell phones mostly for photography, then the choice is Extremely obvious. And you can pick up the Samsung for very cheap now.
I'm loyal to pixel . However, I prefer the videos and photos produced by the Samsung. The pixel just excelled at night mode . Only downside to Samsung's is the bloatware
