his voice got shot in end of the 80,s and he recorderd this song solo...but he,s playing with the whole band and a great voice...he changed his way of singing around 95 i think... sadly 2 great things are gone now... Richie and his voice.. lets see and hear what 2020 will bring

Everybody's getting old, Im sorry, but this is the fact. This is normal..his young age voice not the same voice at 62y. For all the haters, this is a big mirror how scared you from "getting old." If you have a chance to getting old...its a privilege!
