      That's cause he was able to take PEDs. Nowadays anti-doping is more strict with IWF's new president hence why Lu is suspended.

    i love the sumarry but please show the medalist-lifts at least! i was very surprised to see the korean winning 3 medals because i didnt see even 1 lift of him in the summary. :)

      @@MultiPain101 the screen comes in and out of frame throughout the whole video, and lots of times it isn't super clear. Adding the weight to the screen would be a super simple edit that would make the video much more watchable, especially if the IWF is trying to reach a broader audience who aren't as familiar to the sport.

    Every lifter seems to give a little yelp before the lift. It’s a bit cringe. I could swear Blagoev didn’t do that when he snatched 195 at 90kg. Just cool calm focus.

      Because the chinese wl team does an outstanding amount of body building training which other countries don‘t. Check the chinese youth lifters. They didn‘t even start pumping gear yet and they are jacked as shit because of the reason mentioned above. I know you wish that the chinese only win because they take something but let me confront you with some reality: Olympic weightlifting on elite level is a gear festival and i you don‘t believe me you should do some more research bro

      My country didn't win because we don't cheat and take PED's. Everybody and their mother knows team china dopes their way to winning lol. Wheres the pride in that? You guys have the strongest cheaters in the world. If team USA did the same we'd win every competition.       most lifters were performing better at lower weight. IWF fucking around with the weight classes are messing up these athletes. IWF is actively trying to destroy the sport

      @@user-tz9jh6pv2j Doping is a lot more strict now since the IWF has a new president. So many middleweight and heavyweight athletes got a doping ban from 2008 and 2012 olympics.
