Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed nomination from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat for Lok Sabha elections on May 14. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and many NDA ally leaders accompanied PM Modi while he filed nomination.
The PM had four proposers from diverse backgrounds. Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri who is a member of the Brahmin community who determined the auspicious time for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Baijnath Patel who is a RSS volunteer and hails from the OBC community, Lalchand Kushwaha also hails from the OBC community and Sanjay Sonkar who belongs to the Dalit community.

Panditji is one of those ancient families of Varanasi who has for years stood for Shiva temple. When the Mughals were about to destroy the temple totally down, his family stood and upturned the order. It was due to the efforts of Pandit jis family that Shiva temple exists today at Varanasi.
This is the difference between two leaders one went for nomination with his own family and the other went with all alliance partners. Modi ji you are our motivation. Is bar 400 par ❤ 🙏🏻 ❤

Panditji is originally a Tamilian as his grandfather migrated from Thiruvisanalloor in Thanjavur district , Tamilnadu n all his descendants r residing over hundred years in Varanasi.
Isn't "Shastri" a Telugu Brahmin surname? A lot of Telugu Brahmins lived in TN
