Lovebites' lyrics are always uplifting and empowering unlike most western metal bands' lyrics.

How insanely talented are these women!!! They are not one dimensional as you can see here. They cover a real wide variety of areas and are not afraid to wander off the metal path at all. Nice if you have the talent to back that up..and a vocalist like Asami who can cover that move with perfect vocals. I believe all their songs are in English, except one. Miho wanted a more European sound from their metal and English was the vocals she knew would give them the best chance to stand out from other great female bands in this genre. Don't forget this is LIVE and I see why some people claim Miyako (who writes a lot of their songs, although they all work on them) plays the piano better than the guitar. You get a full rich experience from this FLAWLESS band in any concert you are lucky to attend. Now try Empty Daydream LIVE (czcams.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/video.html) for more of the Miyako piano intro song.

Lovebites lyrics are always in english. When your getting used to asami's accent, suddenly you realize how much english there is in saiki's lyrics as well. 😋

Imagine, somewhere in the galaxy, a race of benevolent beings who watch over us. They see our world falling into evil and chaos, and so, to help us, they create a team of superheroes and send them to Earth to save us. These heroes are disguised as beautiful young women dressed in white, and instead of using violence or force, they use music to battle the darkness. That is this band.

@Hiawatha, are you aware that, in keeping with LOVEBITES 'theme', about the time they were all conceived, a film was made about benevolent aliens preventing another nuclear catastrophe? That film is called "The Abyss": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Abyss
      LOVEBITES - "Awakening From Abyss"
      coincidence?

@@hiawatha.g Yeah, I'm letting your sci-fi story become my world-view 'reality' leading to a better tomorrow! This film just supports that chosen 'truth'. I haven't turned on my TV since I got my Awakening From Abyss T-shirt, the TV is now a display stand for the multi-colored Wolf-head on the back of the shirt...
Such a much more pleasant use than anything on TV!

A great song with a great message.
It's a shame that in 90% of the videos the reactors don't pay attention to the lyrics, they miss an important part of the song. It only takes a minute or less to read the lyrics if you don't have subtitles. Good reaction and Thanks for another Lovebites video \m/

Big Man you should give the ballad Epilogue a review it has piano and one of the sweetest guitar solo's I've ever heard also Empty Daydreams is not to shabby as well. For someone who does not listen to Lovebites every day use the subtitles then you will get to know the songs better

the start of the song is very typical Japanese style Power Ballad, they have been making them since ages and really love them :)
But they still take it to different direction at the end and it's great. :)
This for example is a short background track from an band/music (yeh, they play little and drink tea a lot) anime that has all the clichés of power ballad, but executed to perfection: czcams.com/video/kU_dg_CqyFM/video.html
Check anything from x-japan and you'll notice it... :D

Well, it is back of the class for you. Asami, does really well singing in English, with all of their songs. I wonder how many western rock/metal bands could have a lead singer who could sing all of their songs in Japanese? For me, this song does loose it's way. I am reminded of a 1970's progressive rock band. Not a bad song by any means and shows off the writing and lyric ability they have, let alone the musicianship. Thank you for your reaction.

  • @HorrorMetalMaestroRedrusty66

can't believe all the videos you've done of them and you thought they were singing in Japanese? lol..ALL their songs except for 1 way back on their first ep in 2017 is in 100% full English. You shocked me..so you've never noticed all their songs are in English? wow
