He's still developing, I'm so glad he's playing for Carolina. As someone who hopes to see Carolinians in the NHL, I really think if a Carolinian ends up as a goalie in the NHL one day they'll be growing up inspired by Kochetkov's style.

Wow, they really blew it with this replay not showing that the puck didn't cross the Hurricanes goal line in that first one. They really made it look like the Canadiens scored lmao.
For those who didn't watch the game, it bounced off the Hurricanes players skate, went along the goal line, then bounced out off the post.
We can clearly see the puck bounce off the bars, no need to have watched the game lol

Kochetkov is the clutch goalie that the Canes need in the playoffs, the higher pressure gets the better he plays. The fact that he is still growing should be scary for opposing teams.

Habs were in this game until the 3rd period. Canes took over from the rest of the way. They failed miserably on special teams. 0 for 3 on the power play, gave up a power play goal and a short-handed goal. That was probably the biggest factor in the loss. Cats (Panthers) on Tuesday.
Hurricanes have also been amazing on the Penalty Kill ever since Brind'Amore became coach

I find it amusing that Carolina is paying Jesperi Kotkaniemi $4.8 million a year to serve as a fourth-liner. If the Hurricanes get eliminated this postseason, it's because they overpaid Jesperi, leaving them short on funds to strengthen their playoff depth.

Кузнецов капец какой медленный и малоподвижный((( в межсезонье ему обязательно надо упороться в подготовку к следующему сезону,иначе про хорошие результаты придется забыть((
Кузя всё правильно делает (опыт). "Монреаль" не та команда чтобы "костьми ложится", сей час главное сохранить лидеров для плова.
И даже это не мешает ему делать классные передачи и выигрывать вбрасывания. Зачем костьми ложиться, когда эта игра ничего особо не решает, Каролина уже 100% в плейофф, после матча с Детройтом, поэтому нужно поберечься, оставить силы на главную битву. Да и установка тренера, скорее всего, была такая же. А то в прошлом сезоне жилы рвали, дивизион выиграли, а на плов уже сил не хватило.
Не знаю, я почему-то не согласен. Может он и медленный, но всегда в самой гуще событий. Может это эффект "сейчас медленно спустимся и возьмем все стадо"

We weren’t going to win 4 in a row. Moral victory, we won last couple games. Toronto won, Aussie Matts got his 60. Great season. Don’t think he will get 70, but you never know. They should be primed for the playoffs. Let’s hope they have a deep run, and who knows maybe finally get that Cup and bring it back to Canada…we can all hope. Domi playing the best hockey of his career, if goaltending holds up, they have a solid chance. Time will tell. We need a lot of changes over the summer. GHG!

I’d like to thank the Fenway sports group for selfishly blacking out all of the Penguin games in the Pgh area so it’s an easy decision for me to follow the Canes instead of the Pens, this team is awesome to watch.
