The core curriculum of public schools should have a history class with the Indigenous version and perspective of North/South American history. Only in hearing both can one even glimpse what actually took place. I think it could be very healing to all the cultures involved.

If we don't learn we cannot break the cycle of self importance. That is just an illusion. We must all be humble to be complete. Indigenous people gained so much during this trial of life and we are still benefiting. It is the individuals that hold on to that original colonial spirit that is in need during our current time. They are on a path of self destruction. Be blessed whoever you are.

If you talk to "Navajo" elders they do not refer to themselves as "Navajo". That's the name white man gave them. They refer to themselves as "Dinè". It's a conglomerate of many tribes that has shared social laws or the equivalent. They also say that their history says they came from the east, across the plains. They acknowledge each other as surface people, amongst other things.
There's a CZcams channel called Navajo traditions or something like that where an elder tells about their traditions, history, culture, language and teachings. About the patterns of their weaving and what it means, etc.

White, yellow, brown and red Caucasians like thinking they're all different peoples, or different races, but scientifically speaking, there's only one race: human.

You should look at what they already did. There are many complex reasons for why they didnt do those things. from political values and organization, to the abandonment of metal working in favour of shale and obsidian, or other non metals, atleast for tools. they kept it for jewellery.
but as for kingdoms, they were all democratically organized and prevented the arise of a individual or group holding power. this extended to organized alliances and confederations between different nations.
the largest both in number and land mass was the iron confederacy. They were a confederation who were allies in trade as well as warfare. They were made up of the plains and woodland cree, who spanned most of the northern candian plains, and northern woodlands in present day alberta, manitoba and saskatchewan. combined with their next largest allies the ojibwe who occupied the parts of the southern canadian plains, near the border such as southern manitoba as well as southern parts of ontario.
The iriquois were economic allies of this confederacy and through their connections with european traders, got the best guns for the lowest prices for the iron confederacy. Together, they would become gun dealers in the west as early as the 1680's. The alliance lasted until the 1880's
in their height of power, in the 1700's they were also allied with the blackfoot confederacy, the other power house of the candian plains. along with a few smaller allies which were smaller bands of lakota (sioux) and nakoda. they would dominate most of present canada. With the cree even extending some of their endevours into northern british columbia. Nearly being the first natives to have a common language stretch from the pacific ocean to the atlantic. which should speak volumes of the size of the cree alone.

Brother, every land was fought over and taken and retaken over thousands of years. My wife and children are native American, and proud of it, but if we actually studied the true history we'd find blood shed and death was part of native lives before we arrived. What's also forgotten is their were natives on each side of every battle with them and the white man. They were a proud and violent people.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with living on this land. We won this land through our own blood shed and losses. We are the only war Victor's who feel bad for winning wars and battles with people who killed us, had no problem killing women and children themselves, including camps that had no men or warriors present , or just peaceful religious camps.
Did we also use horrible and nasty tactics , yes we did. There was no innocence in those days. Unfortunately the men who fought couldn't tell one set of people from another , so many innocent people died and suffered on both sides.
When we look around us the best thing we can do is remember all of it. Live a life that is worthy of being blessed to live in a peaceful time in our home lands. Feeling bad isn't going to help or change anything, living a respectful life and being good to each other is far superior to any Shame or guilt. We are here now and and need to he better then our ancestor , while respectful to them at the same time.
Native American people weren't innocent or peaceful in any sense of the word. They wanted to wipe us out , they often attacked and killed for no reason , and it didn't matter who you were.

Look into the wars between the Ojibwe nation vs Sioux nation in the areas to the south and the west of Lake Superior. The Ojibwe invaded that area to take it from the Sioux and had brutal wars with them during that time, they ultimately forced the Sioux out of their own land and nation. The Sioux ended up going to Minnesota.

As a member of the Great Sioux Nation, our territories reached Minnesota, Nebraska to the rocky mountains of Alberta & Manitoba Canada "along the 49th". We once had the numbers to defend our lands & people, our downfall was not due to warfare as we know it, but it was biological warfare (the Smallpox or Variola) its called war crimes today. Some Sioux Nations in Canada such as the western Nakota (one of the roots that make up the Great Sioux Nation tree) did not surrender but signed peace treaties with queen Victoria not the government of Canada "but we all know how that turned out". Your videos provides a small part of true history, mostly what's been written in recent times, yes to us 1500's & 1800's is considered recent. However, any videos that promotes First Nation's history is appreciated. If you make videos of war crimes against First Nation's things will start to make more sense. Isniyes/Thanks

The Blackfoot had the Rockies north by north west of colorado then most of northern American from Montana, Idaho and down to the dakotas. Then they had southern, western Alberta up to fort McMurray then east to the Manitoba and Ontario borders. They have found Blackfoot tipi pins at all these places. Even down to the black hills. They were allies with Dakota and Lakota. They gained a lot from eachother. Ie sundance and warbonnets etc. The Kainai reserve is still the biggest of its kind today. The Blackfoot confederacy was and still is massive.

@@zackarijamay1809 The Blackfoot never really fought the whites just like the crow..The Lakota Cheyenne and Arapaho fought the whites all the way until the end..They were real warriors

What happened to the indigenous people is so horrifying. Imagine for generations living somewhere and all of a sudden entitled strangers just stepped in and demanded it was theirs. Disgusting.
