I worked at one of these Ivy League schools mentioned, for 20 years.
The late, world renowned doctor/professor I worked for was Jewish. I can’t imagine what she would have thought about what is going on now, at the university she gave her heart and soul to.

Ivy League schools were once places of ideas, now have become places of ideologies -- from universities to exclusivities.
Funny thing is , I am now a 70 year old man. I went to the University of Connecticut. As I look back on life I now know and freely admit that I was a complete no nothing idiot at that age , and so are most people in college. Yet , as I think of that past , at the time I was a no nothing idiot , I truly thought inside myself that I knew everything . It is called the folly of youth.

Columbia, to be honest, never attracted the brightest or the most intellectual. As an educator I have facts to support that quite a lot of students are accepted to the IVYs and top schools because of reasons other than academic abilities.

I turned down Harvard a long time ago... TWICE Better to go to VT for undergrad and Duke for grad school. Warmer winters, more sunbathers (that you actually want to see!), and less intolerable students and professors.
My quarterly tuition at a state school in the Seventies to get an excellent education: $250.

Kat's right. You don't get a better education at an Ivy League school than you do anywhere else. The quality isn't any better, just the price tag. It's like the difference between name brand groceries and store brands. They're made by the same food companies, it's just the labeling and the price that are different. Save your money, and if you feel you have to go to college (for medicine or law, but nothing else), then go to one of the others.

As a family with a long ivy League legacy, we will be choosing our excellent state school which will also likely lead to my daughter choosing to remain in Florida for employment. Many wins for Florida, and other southern states, and for my family's safety and freedom.

In the drilling industry. To become anyone like the boss. You have to take courses on certain things. Like how not to have a blowout. This is a very intense course to take. And the passing grade is 85 % . But we either paid for the course which is about 2 grand. Or we could challenge the test for 75 dollars. Personally i love a challenge. You have 4 hours to write the test. Mam you know how many times i need to pee in 4 hours.

Ive said it before and ill say it again. Take a page from post WWII. They forced German soldiers to watch the films of the concentration camps. Having spent most of my lifetime in the South, I know that there is WAY MORE discrimination in the North‼️Every Northerner that I have ever known(and I know & have interacted with thousands)was shocked that for the most part, the majority of Southerners get along with each other,REGARDLESS of RACE or RELIGION ‼️Also, Northerners(& International tourists)had hardly ever interacted with ANY other group outside of their race or religion. They all went to completely separate schools & churches,living in completely separate communities, and NEVER interacted with each other ‼️They were ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED that,for the most part,Southerners didn’t even know,or cared, what religion,race,political affiliation,etc.,our neighbors were‼️
If they come here, keep an open mind and keep your progressive politics in the blue states.
As part of the SEC, Your Welcome. We are a lot more for law and order but also practicality in that the student's paid good money to be there and actually want to learn. The law and police are a lot more respected other than in a few blue run cities. If you want to see protestors like up Nawth you would have to import them. Tyrus on point.
