LaFontaine Classic Cars is excited to offer this beautiful 1956 Pontiac Chieftain! This Pontiac still retains its original drivetrain and drives like a dream! A few minor modifications have been made to give this Chieftain its muscle car appeal! American Racing wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA's! Underneath this Pontiac is a pair of Flowmaster mufflers that sound awesome! The background story on the car is as follows: This was purchased from the family who bought it new at the Hershey, Pennsylvania AACA car corral show by the previous owner, Stephan, who worked for Pontiac Motor Division. Stephan had the vehicle repainted black from the factory pink gray two tone. Mileage on the odometer is 22,567 and this is believed to be the original miles to the vehicle. The previous owner had this vehicle for 10+ years before our acquisition 8 years ago! Since then is remained preserved in the LaFontaine Heritage Collection! Beautiful car very very nice nice one of the nicest Pontiacs ever made just wow
Hell of a sled ! Badass
Poncho Power, Check. Black n Chrome, Check. Flawless.
aftermarket wheels for the most part looks bad but on this car it works very well and looks really good
A very desirable for me, tastefully done, the Chieftain's black paint makes a serious impression, the wheels and tires look fantastic on it, more black on black. Wonderful V8 sound. Thank you for sharing.
I had a a Canadian version which is on a Chev frame and it was a 2 door hardtop which I bought with a 396 that needed a rebuild, so I put a L88 cam in it but sold it and put my 301 done out in it. Unfortunately it was stolen after I faced it and was stripped and burnt. Bummer!!
LOVE THE EYEBROWS OVER THE HEAD LIGHTS. BEAUTIFUL CAR. WHERES THE PRICE.
Everything is cool about that car, that was my dad’s first new car when he was 17 years old. He bought it brand new in 1955. It was the 55 model. How much would something like yours cost if you don’t mind me asking
It is sad the old fashion car does not match those lovely wheels.
Oh never mind I read it after I made the comment $36,000 I was off by $1000. I just placed a bet with my dad that you wanted 35,000 for that car he couldn’t believe it but at 87 years old everything looks expensive because that car probably cost 4500 new if that
I would have liked it a bit better. With white walls and the original hub caps.
how was this car modded?
