My father was an original member of this Toronto Society for Psychical Research group, who conjoured up Phillip. (My dad, AL Peacock is seen in these video's red blazer with dark rimmed glasses) What this group accomplished was amazing.. when I was 13 years old I witnessed some wild things that happened as seen in video.. even heard the card table fly across the room.. and cause damage, even when there was NO One else in that room. So for those non believers. all I can say is .. Its amazing and unbelievable.. but SOOOO True !.

In the cold light of day, what did they achieve? A replication of a traditional spiritualist seance. Maybe the true experiment was not to create a spirit, more to show that a seance is not really talking to spirits from the ether, but a narrative that is created by the group??? Food for thought.....
Hello. Is there a version of this video with better quality in the Internet: czcams.com/video/X2lGPT2J1cc/video.html Or a documentary about the philips experiment?
If it was a manifestation of their will, how did the table go to one side? or lift itself all together? wouldn't all their will have to be going in one direction?
I'm thinking it's more a matter of their collective abilities being focused by the experiment, essentially resulting in low level telekinetic activity.
If people had read the articles attached to this, they'll have read they were all skeptical at first & used doilies underneath their hands, which I believe (from memory of reading) would have slipped if one of them happened to be pushing the table. They all trusted one another after a number of months. I don't believe, however, that this was just a figment of their imagination, someone they had created - given a name, a personality - an entire life to. I do believe they had contacted someone on the other side, it could have been anyone, someone impersonating 'Philip', someone who was glad of the love & attention they were obviously receiving & may not have received in real life. If they'd have gone further in (sensibly) using an Ouija board, they could have turned this entire experiment on it's side (no pun intended). We're lucky to live in a much more respectful & open minded era which far more scientific equipment now, we've collected so much evidence from the other side it's not far off impossible to ignore that something is out there - & very real, at that. Thank you for the upload :)
From what I've read repeatedly, the actual video from these sessions is not available, and the videos that are going around are of "recreations." Which is this?
This IS an actually snippet of film from a regular meeting.. There was nothing staged in this video... it was actually recorded for documentation for a book
So, im just seeing this, but they are way too cheerful, I know excitement is sometimes uncontrollable but demons can deceive you quickly having you thinking that it is what you are thinking it is, I personally think its something far more deeply seeded than, "Phillip", just my opinion though...
That was a part of the experiment during the first experiment they were all meditating but nothing happened so during the second one they tried to make it more cheery and it worked or so the legend goes
A table begins shaking then levitating on one end and not one person removes their hands from the table and backs away? The odds that every single one of them would defy expectations in such a scenario is a major red flag
