- ALL NEW! In this clip we have the close of Jeopardy (With a LONG credit roll. I wonder if this was the last season where most of the fee plugs we read off by Johnny Gilbert and not corporate pre-taped ads). Then its the Florida Lotto results and a WPLG News Preview (Which details the skyrocketing gas prices... but look carefully at what those prices were that everyone was complaining about... seems like a bad joke now), followed by plugs for Publix and Lite 101.5 and the Title card for what was the last episode of Full House.

Johnny Gilbert has outlived so many game show hosts and announcers. He's almost 100 and still alive today.
Man, I miss this theme especially when watching this when I was real little!
Me too
Same here
Tonight on the night beat promo is so good and lite101.5 is really something i need more than just listening to music and makes me getting in the mood!!!!!!
2:08 - This is Johnny Gilbert speaking. "Jeopardy!" was created by Merv Griffin. Produced by Columbia TriStar Television. Distributed by King World.
I still remember getting WPLG ABC 10 via Primestar back around this time, Wheel and J! every night on a distant channel. Brings back memories
1:21 GAMETEK in the credits
For those who actually owned a video game console, Gametek used to publish games based on some of the game shows (e.g. Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Hollywood Squares).
For all those who are from the Sunshine State, they were based right out of North Miami Beach.
I miss those days when Johnny would read the fee plugs while the music plays.
And the freaky part is 10 years from now, we'll be looking back on these as the good ol' days. I know it doesn't seem possible now, but think about this: It probably didn't seem possible in 1995. Most folks thought the country was going to hell then just as they do today.
in 1985, J! used pretaped ads and so did $100k Pyramid and Break the Bank and TJW and TTD.
@ClassicJeopardy That's when it aired, but not when it was taped. You're right about the date though.
Why do I feel like I can plug an old Macintosh laptop computer into the Jeopardy set and access a giant computer core repository of information?
music to my ears 😌
As Shown On KMGH-TV Channel 7 Denver Colorado CBS (Alternate ABC)
Whoa, South Florida has the highest gas prices in the state. I wonder if it still has the highest today.
... and just think... even these prices were high compared to 2001 (where close to the end of the year, gas was hovering at $1 per gallon)... :(
I was 10 in May 1995. I turned 11 in August that year.
I hope we don't look back at today as 'The Good Ole Days'... Gas would be close to $10 a gallon, relatively speaking...
i bet those people that were complaining about gas prices are saying now why the hell were we complaining
They stopped having Johnny read all fee plugs in 1996.

I was only 5 at the time this was recorded.
Hmmm.... I was 16 at the time... I am suddenly feeling old!!!
I wonder if Johnny has ever met anyone who told him they've done impressions of him?

Gas prices are going up!?!? Hahahahaha! That shit said $1.34 or something... Man they would hate living in 2013.
Well, with the way things are going, we could very well be.
@GDelva2003 :)
@954sajjad say that again
Warren Buffett owns WPLG.
32rodrick, TRUMP HAD NOTHING to do WITH Jeopardy!! so STOP with your false claims!!
