18:50地点からメロディロードとなっていて、40km/hで走るとゴダイゴの「モンキーマジック」が聴けるそうですが、よく分かりませんね。清滝から先の東照宮付近の国道は、このチャンネルでは珍しい渋滞道路ですが、2倍速で飛ばせば問題ありません（笑）。

国道120号といえば、まさにこの区間といった感じですね。日光周辺はやはり有名観光地だけあってかなり混雑していて、特に神橋付近の渋滞は大変ですよね。
いろは坂は元々は今回通った方の第一いろは坂の方のみだったのが、後から明智平経由の第二いろは坂が開通して、この時にそれぞれ上下一方通行で交通が分けられたみたいですね。その為、いろは坂では対向車とのすれ違いはないものの、昔からの峠道の雰囲気がそのままな感じで少し圧迫感はありますね。こんな所を観光バスなんかがひっきりなしに通っている訳ですから…。
