Oh Judy. I lost my father at the end of August at only 58. We were best friends and twins. His loss is unimaginable and my life has been nothing but a blur and I'm just a zombie. I am so, so, sorry for such significant losses of yours. I cannot imagine the pain.

The song I chose for my father at his funeral. The moment I heard the first note from the piano, I instantly knew the song and tears immediately filled my eyes. 15 years this year since I lost him, still feels like yesterday sometimes. Josh did this about as good as anyone could do it save for Vince himself. Well done to him!

Well sung, but it feels a bit like he dropped the ball during the finale, especially when compared to Nathan, Asher, and Bryan, who fought just a bit harder and had more engaging performances.
Kelly Clarkson sings a beautiful cover of this song. Vince Gill. Patty Loveless. It's a stately song, obviously deeply spiritual. Josh's voice is thin, weak, and pitchy as heck. Bye.
