I'm saying this as a man, I'm tired of those videos/yt shorts showing women's goalie fails as proof that women's foot ball is a joke. In both men and women's football, you're gonna have crap goalies and awesome goalie saves. You can see that on youtube of all places. This video is proof beyond a shadow of a doubt, that women footballers are awesome and deserve respect.

Women Football is getting interesting now because goal keeping has improved tremendously. To me, the first time I saw really strong goal keeping was at the WC 2019. That was really the weakest point in the game. I am really glad that there are now some really top quality keepers. That last save was wonderful BTW.

Some people can take the fact that some female gk are good
I don’t really watch women’s football, it often feels some amount slower than men’s football, and it shows in a lot of these saves. Obviously fantastic performance by a lot of these GKs, a lot of these shots were fucking insane and they responded in kind. However, some of these shot I see are decent shots in hard to hit spots, but they move sooooooo slow to me. That’s where I see the difference in men’s and women’s ball.

I came here after seeing the videos with that female goalkeeper be extremely bad.
For a change I decided to check out the "best woman goalkeeping" compilation, hoping that maybe there are more flops, but still some amazing saves. Sadly, even I had enough as good saves to make at least half of such a compilation and I only played football in school. Maybe woman football will improve with time, but I doubt it ever will be as interesting as man football, simply by the nature of this sport. Maybe a smaller field and some changes to the rules would improve it, but in the current state of things man's and woman's football is uncomparable.
