Nice shaped bowl..box elder is a soft wood and is very easy to to get tearout..scrapers help.. I think I may have to make one of those spear point scrapers..thank you sam.

I think I understand your question, but I’m not entirely sure. Anyway this is a very small bowl and didn’t get vibration at all any place. But mostly this is just the procedure for me completing a bowl. Thanks, Sam

I always thought a calabash bowl had a rounded bottom and no "foot". Nice looking bowl anyway!
You are completely right on this. I did leave the foot on this. So I messed up a little, adding the foot not entirely a calabash, huh? 🤔 sam
