Baskets like these (I got mine from ikea as we don’t have dollar tree in Australia) can easily be painted and turned into light shades. I’ve also used macrame cord to weave through all the way round to turn into a great plant pot holder.

Great ideas! I also turn the tall baskets upside down , put a hole in top, add a dollar tree plant hanger and in the hole insert a solar landscaping light removing the part that goes in ground.. i hang them at different heights from deck pergola. Cheap outfoor lights
