Mam i have diubt why fundamental right have article 20(3)- protection against self incrimination please explain with more words i understand the concept but why this is get place in fundamental right
No self-incrimination: No person accused of any offence shall be compelled to be a witness against himself.
The right against self-incrimination includes the right to refuse to take the witness stand and the right to refuse to answer an incriminatory question. This article talks about the constitutional right against self-incrimination, who can use it and when it can be invoked.
In India, under Article 20 (3) of the Constitution, the defendant has the right against self-incrimination, but witnesses are not given the same right. A defendant must be informed of their rights before making any statements that may incriminate them. Defendants must not be compelled to give any statements.

Article 18(1) was enacted to stop the corrupt and immoral conduct of citizens, which makes them go about currying favours with power in order to get certain differentiation. Awards not only honour accomplishment, but also many other traits such as skill, difficulty, and effort. Giving awards to citizens is constitutionally legitimate and does not violate Article 14 of the Indian Constitution.
What is the distinction between titles and awards?
At the time of British administration, the titles were given to people who pleased Britishers with their administrative abilities. Individuals are honoured for their services to the advancement of art, literature, and technology, as well as for exceptional public service. While rewards are given solely on the basis of a person’s performance without regard to religion, class, gender, or colour, British rulers conferred titles on certain groups.
Padma Awards were instituted in 1954 to be awarded to citizens of India in recognition of their distinguished contribution in various spheres of activity.
The government suspended the practice of granting the Padma awards for two years in 1977. It was again suspended during mid-1992 when 2 PILs were filed in the High Courts of India
They are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of higher-order) and Padma Shri (distinguished service).
