I was first introduced to you and Joey 8 yrs ago while care giving to a special Christian woman, Miss Polly. She watched your shows and told me of your story. Since that time I have followed your story. You truly have touched my life through the years. I recently lost my husband on Jan 21, 2020. It was the worst day of my life-very tragic accident. He was afflicted with alcoholism and cancer but in the end the alcohol took his life. We tried to convince him to stop his addiction but he could not defeat his demons. I miss him so much and only find peace in the grace and comfort of my Lord. Thank you for your inspiration.

I can't believe it's been 4 years since Joey passed to Heaven. Rory, thank you for continuing your story and sharing your journey with us.
My oldest daughter of 7 kids Birthday that year was March 7th 2016. She was 11 and I remember talking to her about Joey and we followed y'alls life closely we cried together about her passing. We also sang y'all songs together even when I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Little did I know the follow year I would loose the precious presence of my daughter here on earth. She passed away from a severe Asthma attach Oct. 21, 2017 at the age of 12 not meeting her 13th birthday that following year I just had our youngest of 7 he was just barely 5 weeks old. I just want to say y'all music have been such a great comfort for me, and have brought me through so much. Pain, Grief, happiness and so much more. Thanks so much for sharing. I miss her everyday. We also moved to our property we tried to for so long the year after she passed, which we could have done so many year before with our daughter living here. But we pushed forward to change the lives of our children make things more simple and to capture all that we can. We started a garden, we now own chickens, and her basset hound doggie just had puppies just like she wanted. I always tell everyone we never get over a loss of our daughter. We just keep moving forward a little bit at a time. Thanks for continuing to inspire and share your lives. Much love and many Blessings from The Goss Family!!!!
I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of your sweet daughter. I can't even begin to imagine the level of shock and pain at losing her. I bet she has found Joey in Heaven, and they became fast friends. You are a true inspiration yourself... remaining steadfast and pushing forward for your other children. @@VintageRose75 thanks so very much we have our tough times, but GOD keeps showing his GRACE when we need it most. Missing someone you love so much that has passed on, it still is tough but there are so many happy moments too. Choose to see the happy they would all want us to do so.

He will not undergo treatment and I Pray his suffering is minimal. He's ready to go home. My wife Teresa and me discovered Joey and Rory n Dec 2020 and have become captivated by their story. What a story and Joey what a singer but so sad I cry very time I listen to When I am gone. Rory you are a GIANT and a very special man. I now thank God that my wife and I have had 57 years of happiness and am sorry tou and Joey have not had the same. God Bless you and Indiana.

When a friend died in March 2018 l was up late grieving and asked God if Phil (my friend)was in heaven. Turning on my phone, the song from this video was playing. It is well with my soul. I had my answer.

One thing I use to remember when I loss my beautiful little girl Daisies Gracie she had down also God's blessings . but one day I really missing her stood up to walk and look beside me there was a shadow so from that time on I believed and said that was Daisie Gracie by my side through her shadow. I’d give this a hundred likes if I could. I was one of those who watched and prayed from a distance and will never be the same because of your sharing. Now, I’m facing the slow loss of my precious Mom who was facing breast cancer while Joey was fighting her cancer. battle. The cancer didn’t get Momma but now I’m losing her slowly to Dementia and mourning a bit more each day. But, I just bet she’ll have a good visit with Joey when she gets home too. Thanks for sharing the things you’ve learned and felt for they have given strength and hope to all of us too.

I am not looking forward to the 2nd Phase of CORONA! It's supose to be very bad, so many have died, and more are going to, they are opening Schools n should not! Will you please Pray for our Towns! Teachers are afraid to go to School themselves kids are afraid as well.. My Grandkids made A's and B's with my Daughters, and Daughter n Law teaching online! Any advice would help out! No kids were not supose to get it, but they have! 85 Babies new Born were Born l read they all had Coronavirus haven't heard about them but once!! I couldn't imagine, but Prayed for them, l Pray about everything, l talk to God from the time l wake up, till l go to Bed.. what a Friend We have in Jesus! 🖒❤

Love the hauntingly beautiful new song, Rory💖~I listen, often, to the "Hymns" album you and Joey made together and such a LEGACY your lovely wife left for all of us by recording those amazing songs; it has been a big encouragement to my life as I sing along with tears rolling down my face...sometimes in pain and more often in pure worship🙏❤:)

I lost my husband Valentine's Day 2014. He was only 45, and we have 5 children. I still struggle every single day. He was my world my entire adult life, then I was widowed at 41. He's still my heart.

Rory I used to live in Canada. But now I live in South Africa. Today i am so depressed. I am in pain and need back surgery. And then I remember about you and Joey and Indie. If u can take life like this then I can lift myself up. And grab life by the horns. With Gods love and help. God bless u and your familie.
Praying for you! I know how painful back pain can be. I, myself, have had 7 back surgeries, and am in constant pain. I pray that you can get the surgery you need and can be pain-free.

I love reading your blogs only because I had lost my sweet 16 Priscilla she would have been 40 years old this year and that scares me to death did I have not come out of it yet! Church therapy and so forth has not been working but I continue to go to church that's my biggest therapy and read my Bible read your blog and how much someone love how you have so many memories like that I do too but they're all on vhs's have nobody to help me change them over miss that little girl at the world to me and not only to me you can read about my daughter Google her name she's done a lot of things from Albuquerque New Mexico Washington State to Pennsylvania to South Carolina I did all I can to keep her alive I lost and she won😭😭 she hated that I cried I still cry to this day as if it was yesterday God bless you honey peace be with you much love and respect you're doing an awesome job and a beautiful father and someone I would like to get to know I'd like to go to one of those shows when it warms up I am here in Tampa Florida

What an Amazing Love story. As you were losing Joey, I to was losing my marriage of 37 years. I would pray hard for Joey to recover, begging God to let her remain to care for her baby girl. But in God's Sovereignty, He chose to bring Joey home to His side. I prayed also for my marriage to be restored to a whole place. But in God's Sovereignty, it ended. Life has gone on for both of us, but not to forget those we lost. Thank you Rory for sharing your sweet story of your love for Joey and your family closeness. For letting us enter in your time of loss and your now time of renewed Hope! Keep running the Race set before us, till Jesus comes for His Bride, the Church. He will wipe away all tears, and Joy will be ours for Eternity. God Bless.

God has given this family sunshine. The older daughters are wonderful. Indiana is growing well. And Rory loves God more and more. We felt so sad when Joey rested. We had no idea how God was going to show himself mighty in the lives of this entire family. God has wiped every tear. Fond memories live forever. May God continue to bless this family.

I stumbled on this while trying to find a way out of the craziness that is at the moment our world. As a severely disabled 63 yr old, widowed twice and with no children or any other family. "Friends" like snow on a hot summers day or in isolation because of the virus I was in despair. I spent 3 hours with a lady on Fri one of a class I teach crafts to on a voluntary basis, she had reached rock bottom and feared not being able to shop and the isolation. I persuaded her there was a future worth hanging on for. Today, I'd lost that hope for myself. I was glad my two loved ones were out of it, but oh so desperatly lonely when I stumbled across your story.

I still remember the first time I saw you & Joey. It was on an episode of a music competition reality type tv show, I'm sorry I forget the name. It wasnt one I watched weekly, but I remember seeing you two & being in awe. Not only how talented you both were, but of how perfectly you complimented each other. I always though she was one of the most beautiful people, inside & out. I see so much of her in little Indy, especially when she smiles.... That's her mom perfectly reflected in her sweet little face ❤
I have the Hymns cd and literally play it all the time. It has comforted me through some pretty hard times that ended when my mom passed away this Jan. She had Dementia and the last few months were brutal till she took her last breath. I LOVE that cd! So you see you make a difference! Looking forward to your next cd!

When everyone was praying for Joey in November, I to like thousands of others was praying on my knees for peace n healing for your family as well. The funny thing is at the time I was in jail in Greensboro Tennessee n just wanted you to know that every believer there some of us drug addicts n thieves n lots of other types of criminals all took a moment to cry n pray for your beautiful bride n family

I followed Joey’s journey and prayed for her daily. Your story touched me in such a way. Not only am I a special education teacher but I have a 62 year old uncle with Down Syndrome that is the joy of my life. I just came across your videos and I smiled and laughed and cried. They are simply beautiful. I am from Tullahoma, TN and hope to make it to one of your concerts at the farm. Rory, thank you for that. We all think our life is bad at one point or another. After watching that we must love life and everything in it.
My life unfolded much like yours only a few years before. The woman I had waited for, who had finally came into my life and had fallen in love with and eventually married took a turn I didn’t see coming. It started with headaches, changes in her personality and just the sense something wasnt right. Eventually I got the news no one wants to hear, she had a brain tumor that was incurable. This was December and by March she was gone. Joey reminds me so much of her it hurts. It’s been almost eight years and much like you I’m still processing it, trying to make sense of this thing we call life. Thank You for sharing your journey.

I want to share with you my story. I married my soulmate in 2010. In 2012 he was diagnosed with advanced cancer. They said he wouldn't live a month. He lived 8 months an died at home holding my hand December 10th 2012. When I came across you vlog an to joey from rory it changed my life! It's like I wasnt going thru it anymore an her faith gave me hope for my faith to grow! Thank you Mr. Feek. You will never understand what you've done for me. Thank you.

Rory, I watched that with tears, both with the sorrow of what you, Indi and your family have lost, but also because you have reminded me and have inspired me to get off my butt and do better, to capture more and to document more......I am a mum to many, I am married to the love of my life for 25 years now and I also happen to have a treasure with Almond eyes who brings me joy every single day along with his siblings. Our life is very ordinary, very real and sometimes totally boring, but you are so right in all that you say and share about the gift that comes from this for you and your family into the future.......Thank you for sharing your life with us, you and Indi never fail to spread the joy for life even when I can only imagine it was very easy to do otherwise.
