Cadillac may have been renowned for gargantuan land yachts in the
Fifties and Sixties, but by the Seventies, the Malaise Era was in full
swing, and customers were downsizing. America's best-known luxury
brand knew that they needed a smaller car. Cue the Seville, which
debuted in 1975. Named after a Spanish province rich in history and
art, Cadillac would keep the nameplate going until 2004, when the STS
replaced it. This 1979 Cadillac Seville is a fine first-generation
reminder of what a relatively downsized Cadillac was like at the
beginning of its life. This car has seen 100,000 miles, but the
current owner reports it to have undergone some freshening up.

I had a brand new Seville in 1977 it’s one of the best cars I’ve ever had looks class handled almost like a sports car very fast black black top red leather moon roof wire wheels vogue tires rolls grill I wish I had it today I’ve owned about 15 Mercedes’ right now I have a new s580 jaguar convertible new back in the day 85 Cadillac eldorado biaratz I’m just stating all these car to say my 77 Seville was the American rolls Royce I was was so proud driving that car I wish Cadillac would come out with a high end Seville today charge the same as a Mercedes’ I’d buy it in a second what happened to Cadillac the cars they make are ugly wake up !
