  • This tutorial will show you how to make a simple DIY Chiara backdrop using foam insulation boards. There are several names for this backdrop, including triptych, arch wall, and panel. This project is so easy and cheap (compared to the prices of buying one already made). It will make the perfect addition to any birthday party, graduation party, anniversary party, holiday party, baby shower, bridal shower, or gender reveal. Thanks so much for stopping by my channel, DeAnn Creates.

    Did your foam break part when you cut it? The foam sheet I bought broke off into a million little styrofoam balls and it’s not smooth. How would you say this foam preformed?

    • @DeAnnCreates
      @DeAnnCreates  Před 2 lety

      I did not have any issues with the foam board that I bought. I purchased it from Home Depot and it good quality. It never broke apart.

    Do u keep it in the same colour or do u repaint it each time u get a different theme for an event?

    • @DeAnnCreates
      @DeAnnCreates  Před 2 lety +1

      I haven't had to reuse it yet. We haven't had a lot of parties with everything that's going on. If you were going to reuse the background, I would probably try to use craft paint (maybe Waverly's) because the house paint is so thick to paint over! Thanks so much for watching! 💛

    Is there a difference between this material and a foam board? Like is one more durable than the other?

    • @DeAnnCreates
      @DeAnnCreates  Před 10 měsíci

      Foam boards are lightweight and great for small backdrops or temporary setups, but they're not super durable, can easily crease or dent, and might not do well in outdoor conditions. On the other hand, foam insulation boards are more durable, sturdy, and better in different weather conditions, making them a better pick for long-lasting or outdoor backdrops. You can use either, so choose the one that fits your vibe and durability needs. ❤✨

    • @DeAnnCreates
      @DeAnnCreates  Před 2 lety +2

      I made this in October, so I do not remember the total price. I think the boards were $12-$14 each, and I bought 2 of them. My hubby purchased the feet, and I think they were $12 each. There were 6 of them. You can probably find something cheaper. I will include the link to my blog post to see the full description of everything that I used. Thanks for watching, Danielle.
