- In tower defense simulator, there are skins you are able to obtain. With such skins, there are the golden skins, the odds one out. The golden skins are able to give such buffs to your towers and are some of the best towers. And this video I am here to talk about how and why. Enjoy!

TDS Video. Cool. next video will be about the reworked accel. Also yes I tried copying propeller's thumbnail style. I really like his style so what do you expect? Once I get a better pc I might integrate more complex editing styles inside my videos (since my pc cannot run davinchi, the editing software propeller is using).

First time I unboxed golden crate i got mini gunner so i think I got lucky even though all of the skins have the same 16% chance

I think while TDS is doing great with balancing towers, there are still towers that really need balancing. Ima just list them:
Paintballer: Just compare the max levels of paintballer and scout. Paintballer is practically a twice as expensive, no hidden detection scout that only has a little splash damage. This tower really needs a rework and could also use a redesign. And maybe allow it to mark enemies, that’d allow for some late game use.
Demoman: Its grenades need to be thrown faster because this tower misses too much on early levels. It also needs hidden detection earlier, as it needs to be able to deal with early game hiddens. And when compared to soldier, it could definitely use dps buffs for all levels & a cheaper max level. One feature that I would love however is for demoman’s grenades to drop shrapnel on the path for enemies to step on.
Freezer: What am I even supposed to say? Just making this tower a scout that can freeze enemies is already better than what we currently have. And if it were up to me, I would remove this tower as my first move.
Hunter: It’s more or less a ground sniper… which costs coins. Yeah, this tower should do more than a free tower. Maybe it always target actual health instead of shield health. This could make it a viable option for harder game modes like polluted wastelands. Or it could deal more and more DPS the longer it attacks an enemy.
Medic: Don’t get me wrong, the ability is great. But the healing just so bad. This tower needs to heal per second, not after waves ends. Medic should be good because of it healing for early-mid game, & it should be good because of its ability in late game. So I think medic should be able to overheal the base up to a limit (maybe only like 1000 health at most). That would allow it to actually be good in early-mid game.
Shotgunner: Who actually uses this tower other than for speedrunning molten? This tower needs higher pierce for later levels if we want this to be a good crowd control tower. Also, it should probably deal more DPS, especially on max level.
Military Base: How have they not buffed this tower? "Well, it might be complicated-" JUST LOWER THE COOLDOWN AND YOU’VE BALANCED THIS TOWER! It is that SIMPLE, and yet they haven’t done it yet.
Cowboy: Let’s be honest, it’s not even close to being a farm alternative. They gotta make cowboy have only 4 levels, remove the extra 6 shots golden cowboy has to do, lower the prices of later levels as that’s the main thing that makes later levels not worth it, probably nerf earlier levels to incentivize players to use later levels, and golden cowboy should always make more cash than regular cowboy. The point is, cowboy has lots of issues and some of them can devastate cowboy if they’re worsened.
Accelerator: It’s mainly the max level that’s a big issue. It’s way too powerful and making it more expensive just isn’t what I want. Nerf the DPS to 240 & make max level cost 25000. Cost efficiency will stay the same, while accelerator becomes easier to max, and it’ll help make the game in general more balanced.
Engineer: It needs to be reworked to be affected fully by supports like commander and DJ. Also, we don’t need to see the sentries’ ranges, as they’ll be similar to the engineer’s.

You do not have to open the crate to get one. You can go into the shop, and if there is a golden tower, you can buy it.

i am late but i already have a play list of me playing molten EVERY SINGLE DAY to get all the golden towers. Luckily, i like keeping my sanity and so i only do one per day. At 42k coins right now, and i made sure to never buy pyro cause it just feels bad getting it. I have no golden towers currently
Pyro is actually pretty good one of the strongest support towers due to its defense melting very underrated like g cowboy

@YoshikageKiraWithKillerQueen gold scout is decent. It's good for only early to early mid game, so try to farm heavy to afford better defense. It's not very good against crowds, so get something like mortar pursuit or engineers for that, gl grinding goldens

@YoshikageKiraWithKillerQueen yeah, that's fine. My loadout is g cow engi g mini g pyro and g scout. It's mostly flex but surprisingly good for all modes g cow is for cash g mini and engi dps towers, g mini for hidden + dps and engi for huge dps, g pyro support plus crowd and scout can be for bait and clutch saves(engi is also for lead and flying).
