After a twenty-plus year hiatus, I decided to get back into skating. Recently got myself a ditch life and a dinghy shape 9 and it's the best money I've spent in a long time. I'd forgotten how much I love riding a board. Your videos were a big inspiration to getting this middle-ager back on a board and your products are great. Cheers, folks!

I wish this was longer… it was too fun to watch. Alex’s slide tutorial vid really propelled me to where im at now with freeriding and sliding. Thatd be great if they made a hybrid board that could do both slide and dance on a mellow hill with enough speed to do some decent slides but mix it with dance steps
Take a look at the Loaded Dervish Sama. Drop through for slide stability but large deck space for dancing
You can also try the axel serrat pro model 39 by arbor. Good for street, slides and dancing. Not drop through but shaped closer to a normal skateboard, just blown up.

I got into longboarding recently and thanks to you guys I'm learning to slide, do tricks, dance and I'm always motivated. Thanks for all the stuff you do, Carla and Alex are great models to keep learning and trying to achieve what they do :)

I own both the boards in this video and can attest that they are excellent dancer boards. I learned quicker with the Tony Danza because of it's manageable size and the skills easily translated to the Stratus. I love Landyachtz! You guys have a fan for life.

Also Landyachtz I’m 5’11 and size 12 in mens and I’m not sure if I should get the drop cat 33 or drop cat 38
I’m also about 5’11. It really depends on how wide you like your stance. Personally I like to have a bit more room on my board and be able to have a wider stance, so I’d go for the 38, but if you favor a narrower stance when you skate and would rather have that little bit smaller turn radius and tighter handling go for the 33. Just based on height I’d say probably go for the 38 though

I feel like longboard dancing isn't as popular in the USA. I've never seen anybody do it here in the USA and in all the videos it's always some guy who looks like they walked out of a starbucks ad, in paris or some other tourist attraction in a country other than the USA XD. Always looks cool though.
Is a 40 inch pintail too small to cross Step? Newbie here, spent an hour yesterday trying, couldn't get it 😂
40 inches isn't too short though the bigger the foot platform the more room you have to move your feet around. That being said, we've seen people cross step on dinghies so don't give up!
