I have the same tire machine. It was the first thing I bought off Craigslist 18 years ago. Its been a great machine for me as I maintain 4 motorcycles. Its nice not wrestling tire changes on the floor.
People who don’t know scoff at Shinko tires. They think the big names are made in the USA. The fact is most motorcycle tires, including Michelin are made in China! Shinko uses Yokahama molds. They bought out all of Yokahamas molds when they stopped making motorcycle tires.
I've been using one of those machines for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. You will learn to hate it. I'm not sure even why you bought it. In 1988 they were $700 and in 2023 you can pick up an modern air operated machine for around $1400 that would allow you to do a lot more different rims with ease, and that makes you a lot more money. Best of luck anyway. I like your videos.
That machine is all about leverage! So simple, but so cool.
