- One wish brings a new romance to life.
High school loner Sophie is given an ancient car by her kooky grandma who claims it has magical powers. Sophie is skeptical, but when she wishes for a date to the school dance, suddenly Drake, an actor from LA, appears in the trunk of her car. After a few failed attempts to send him home, they agree the magic car will make sure he fulfills her wish. As they spend time together, Sophie must learn to open her heart before the wish is complete and Drake disappears back to the big city forever.
