HI Vikas, Very glad to see, someone having a through knowledge of porotherm building constructions. This is in mind for long time for my future home, but usually its either karnataka or kerala based videos that would come on the search, and little surprised to see someone near my native. Good job.

I am a civil engineer with 30 + years of field experience.
I have used lime mortar ,cement, clay bricks, flyash bricks, AAC blocks, cement hollow blocks, Porotherm, over these years.
Porotherm is NOT as great as it's made out to be.
Concealed wiring , plumbing and handling ( without gloves) is a nightmare.
The best I have found is good quality Chamber bricks that we should bring to site and used only after two weeks, to reduce thermal shrinkage, and we'll soaked for an hour in water.
AAC is far superior to Porotherm, easy to handle. Concealed wiring and plumbing no problem. No need for internal Plastering..direct cement based putty on walls..huge savings in money and time!! Even lighter than Porotherm, masons can easily pick up the skill to lay. Cutting of blocks and wastage compared to Porotherm is minimal.
Regarding insulation..that a lot of hype. Always have vents at roof level with openings that have taper outwards to allow air to flow out at roof level. If you can make similar vents near floor level, with opening that larger taper inwards, cold air will come in naturally.
    No need of AC.

Cost varies - 76/- (approx) per block
      Half block - 40/- (approx)
Always provide a small cantilever slab all over the building to avoid direct exposure of building.. providing a coat of water repellent or painting above porotherm block is better always
