I’ve always been a fan of the dark circuit. Thanks for spending a little more time on it. And, honestly, a stellar GOTD today - in every way!
I’m a fan of listening to other people play the dark circuit. But any I’ve had personally I end up getting aggravated with it. (Edit) I’ve never owned a vintage tele with a dark circuit. I’m referring to reissues and partscasters I’ve owned with a dark circuit.

My BYG Tele! Sigh - I remember when I could have bought one for ~$500 - everyone wanted a Strat in the early 70s. Love this guitar!!!

I popped into the shop earlier that day and got to hear this Tele played in person. I was confused that it was original, because it looks brand new in person. If I had the means, this would be THE one. Lemmo, outstanding as always!
Yeah, an incredibly preserved 68 year old guitar. And then they hand it to Liberace with the grinder Super Bowl rings. That van Halen rendition was almost as on par as John Mayers live version of Panama. Really brought out that vintage tele sound.

Lemmo is such an incredible guitarist. His playing on guitar of the day has inspired me and helped me improve and broaden my own playing style!
That being said, somebody needs to tell him to take his rings off when he’s jamming on a piece of history like this!! 😂
Does anyone notice that all the originals on Norms never even look close to the Custom Shop Relics, Heavey Relics, or Super Heavy Relics?
Just one of the reasons I don’t care for Relics. Honest playing wear is one thing, but some of the Heavy Relics look like they were dragged behind a bus on a cobblestone street.

Yeah, I've never understood why someone would pay extra to have some guy at the factory beat your guitar with a hammer. Make your own oops's.

Since an innocent comment has become a debate. Yeah, they didn't keep it in the backyard shed. But I doubt $50,000 would cover the cost of keeping it stored by a major museum or somewhere else w the technology.

Yes you can get both pickups together with that circuit; just nudge the switch in the position between both pickups.

Note: you can use both pickups together by carefully putting the selector switch in-between the bridge & neck-without-mud-cap positions.

This one went straight into the faves folder. Not sure what to say, stunning piece.
Around 1991-92 I went in to a pawnshop in Tucson Az. and Purchased an early 60's tele, and a white Gibson Explorer. Paid $800 for both out the door. Sure wish I had both of those guitars today. Side note: I bought a 1991 Gibson LP (Blk) for $500 w/case around 1998-99. Shortly after that period they hired someone who could price instruments better, but man those were the days.

Michael, great job with the Hot For Teacher riff. That would have hurt a lesser guitar, but the '56 Tele was up for it.
I was born Dec 55 so really a 56 boy and my fave guitar yes a Tele and a 56 at that. In far better condition than I. Soriano magical appearance illusion (is there no end to the talent in this store), magic playing by Lemmo. Can things get any better. Thanks guys heavenly.

I guess they’ve started to realize that as brilliant a player Lemmo is, he can’t seem to remember guitar spec details. Brandon should always be featured to fill that gap!

Struggling to believe that instrument is the age it is ,others have atrophied tuners and bridge but this looks manufactured this year, just shows how much I really know

I have a 2020 tele American pro which I love. I just wish I could play it 1,000th as well as you. The vibrato you make look so easy.

It's almost unbelievable that this guitar can be in such an immaculate condition! A real beauty indeed. You spoke of the original Blackgaurd Tele's. This is the Whitegaurd version as far as my knowledge goes. Anyway, it's a stunning guitar and a treasure to own for some lucky dude.
That 56'' fender case just immediately cured my brain cells from degeneration!
You can catch that switch in the middle to get both pickups.

Am I the only one that's noticed that there is an actual price on the thumbnail. I've always hated that Norm's never lists their prices in the GOTD videos. It would be super awesome if they actually put some guitars on their website too. International buyers would like some inventory to peruse please.
