I’m sorry but did you really tighten those rotary burr screws enough? I am taking an adjustable wrench to the nut in the middle and unfortunately it doesn’t work because it also loosens to the left. And I can’t hold the burr enough to properly tighten the screws. Just crazy and odd design

Hmm not really following, but have swapped burrs on many brands, pretty much all can be difficult to do because the bottom carrier rotates.

@@EspressoOutletand that’s why on other grinders I’ve had like a rocky Rancilio, I could use a wrench to grab the rotating nut to apply a counter force and easily tighten or loosen the burr screws. This grinder doesn’t allow that because the top nut loosens and tightens in the same direction easily. Giving me nothing to hold on to. Whatever, I’ll never know I guess if I tightened the screw enough.

Someone on coffeesnobs said the df64v DLC burrs visually look the same as the SSP HU burrs. Would you agree they produce the same outcome in the cup or would the SSP HU still be considered a worthwhile upgrade for espresso?

From afar yes they visually look the same. Up close, the geometry is slightly different. I personally like the DLC over the HU, especially on the 64.
