Get the lynx or the next EUC of your choice here- Ewheels bit.ly/3exn7hX
So when do I get to rest ride one full tilt down the blue ridge?
So we can just own one EUC and change out the wheel for trails or roads? That would be convenient!
No Lynx in any of your links.
“If you wanna pick one up, the lynx in the description”
You're a lyrical genius on this 💪🏼
Only 9 likes??!!
To me, 4 grand is too much money for a single toy. That is what this is, it's a toy. Probably a lot of fun, but that is why it is a toy. Plus, going this fast on a unicycle is just inherently dangerous. A single error could put you in a wheelchair or cemetery.
45mph being your 'comfort zone' is crazy 😂
that's awesome!! :3
Idk man I'm still only on my v12ht but my comfort speed is definitely past the top end I'm constantly getting tilt back. So with a more exp. Rider on a better wheel it kinda makes sense.
@@kristianburger5607 With some of us idiots the danger zone is our comfort zone.
Adrenaline keeps you dialed in
Yet to hit 45😅 42.5 for me
Chooch, I recommend getting the Garmin Varia radar. Pair it to EUC World and it will beep when there is a car approaching from behind. It'll save you the need of constantly looking behind you.
I have this, amazing gadget! It's the best investment for street riding.
I want to make my own with a haptic feedback belt.
Also know where north is at all times.
The tire choice is a tough call for me, this wheel is so versatile. It has the potential to be an awesome street wheel and a great trail/jump wheel. I’ve been leaning 244 to get the best of both worlds. But you’re right the slick on pavement is so fast and nimble it’s a tough call.
This video makes me happy I preordered the Lynx! Thanks Chooch for taking the time to review all the wheels! It helps a ton trying to pick the right one. Can't wait to get mine, only a couple more weeks away now.
It’s sweet. Legit wheel. If I could have only one this would be it. Good choice 🚀
Yup, thats what I've been saying, riding at 45-50mph is barely stressing these high voltage wheels so the mileage should be way better for people like me who ride about 45mph.
Man, very high praises about this wheel from just about everyone, good to know
Ive been riding my Patton for 5 month now, my first euc, 3000km on it so far... I love it, love the suspension.
Just got a winter tire on it and Ì love it.... for street, ice and snow.
Its a Heidenau K57 SnowTex , the directional thread get me back on track when its start to spin out sideway
And the silica in the rubber compound really make it stick on ice.
I dont think I need metal studs for now.
Now, watching you, I want a Lynx for next summer!
Cheers from Quebec City
i think this will be my first EUC purchase. this wheel looks the most solid out of them all. i am done for now driving a vehicle, i think im gonna use this to get to work. will suck getting grocerys and i will miss the fishing trips down to the coast but times are tough and i wanna improvise.
Backpacks! I gotta get a better backpack myself.
Have you at least considered a smaller used wheel to learn? I learned to ride on my Inmotion V8s prior to EX30 purchase. Happy I had basic skills prior to riding ex30
@@robm425 i didnt go to college, just about every job ive done ive never knew / had experience doing each specific job. i pick it up quickly, this would be no different for me
@@robm425 would you advise agains Lynx being my first EUC, i never road one before
Looks like a sweet ride. I love the large rear fender as well. As far as the apps go, the main reason I use the EUC World app is to find the safe speed before I go full send. EUC World lets you know what your safety margin is on your run, so I do my usual ride at lower speeds, and then check the safety margin for the trip. I then bump up the speed and try again, and do this until I get my safety margin down to around 20%, and then call that the max speed that I allow myself to ride on that machine. That way if I hit a pothole, or wind, or something it's not a guaranteed face plant.
Thank you chooch. I've been waiting for this vid. I'll use your links when I get one.
The battle for best wheel in 2024 is already over and its the Lynx. The year hasn't even started yet but the race imo is over. I know about the GT Pro @168v but, for the total package, the Lynx wins. I hate having FOMO but it hard not too. The only slight negative is the 2700wh and for most rides thats still enough, especially on a 151v wheel.
this is your greatest video ever, with some notable ties of course
Your electric unicycle looks awesome and fast. Your video makes it look very fun to ride. The power to weight ratio on this must be insane I bet.
Black Friday 2024, My new street wheel awaits! I'll wait for that battle tested 2nd Batch.
Looks great! I got a Patton that I really love however my only 2 gripes are the range and bottoming out the suspension and I haven't ridden a 20in wheel at high speeds but it seems like it would be alot more stable and I have been loving country hills rides where you can really open it up. Might have to upgrade to the Lynx in a year or so. Great review and that route looks like a blast!
Awesome review Chooch! Please do a city ride. I would love to see how it handles around traffic, corners and curbs.
I've had that type of suspension success on stock Sherman S and Master with aftermarket air shock. Especially the Sherman S, I've ridden truly rough roads at speed with no loss of traction, footing - even on the stock pedals that aren't that sticky. But fully admit lynx looks next level with all that performance
Thanks, Chooch. Great vid.
Exactly, take time to learn your wheel. 2nd day out on my V13, it went into a violent downhill wobble and dumped me off the back. It was like my heels were hinged chipping the back of my helmet. I call her brahma mama. 3000 miles later, we just dance.
Great content, amazing skills. Thanks, be safe!
Hello, a friend from Russia! STRENGTH AND POWER! I LIKE IT!
Were you able try the pads that Ewheels says comes with the Lynx?
Great vid as always Chooch. Going to upgrade from my V12HT once I save the funds.
Thanks for all of the great videos, Chooch! Ordered the Lynx a few days ago. Do you like the Kenda K262 or do you think the Shinko 244 would be an improvement?
I want this as my first euc along with the tubeless street tire like that 😎
A safe approach to riding a new wheel is riding to a 'comfort level' and not beyond. With more experience on a wheel one's comfort level increases at higher speeds naturally. Forcing max performance on a new wheel is an easy way to get into a wobble crash - there's a lot of examples of this on YT, and it's an experience a lot of riders have in my observation
Great chooch! Im waiting for this video . I think that will be my choice , i was looking for v13 but maybe switch for lynx im waiting for the new challenge 20 ....i Hope to see more contents on the lynx , thanks
Stumbled across your channel and recognized the area. You're right in my backyard. I'll keep my eye out for you 👍
I ran into you downtown on my Commander Mini. Thinking about switching my Lynx preorder from the knobby to the street tire based on this. Looking forward to more content!
@RogueTravel Hi, I'm thinking about going from my mini to a Lynx, can you tell me what you liked/disliked?
There are few people that had both wheels and can compare! Thanks!
@@alexaboarg2942 I liked everything better on the Lynx except it’s a bit less nimble than the mini. I have the street tire on both wheels.
Chooch proof. This wheel is the bar for 2024.
Chooch when you coming to NYC? Kelly and Shibby was just here!!!
Lynx looks perfect for fast and safety.. I've been pushing my t4 and may need an upgrade soon.. I heard beeps today
Cool filming. Looks like you are flying through the mountains.
“This thing is fast as shit. I love this ride!” That’s it. That’s all we need to know. ‘Nuff said.
Fuckin’ love it!
What shock/tyre/battery options would you recommend for someone of your size/weight riding mixed street and trails?
It was really nice to see the little town that you ended up at. I guess it's just part of your everyday scenery but I don't really see places like that in the UK.
loveeeee thaaaa videooo
i like this format :) re-subscribed
Yo brother, just used your ewheels link to get the lynx, cheers 🍻. Wdy think you'll get from milage if you go from full battery to about 10%? Im guessing 50 miles?
Not the Chooch Gooch😅 1:40
eww🤢
I think some people just understand certain machines. You understand that thing.
Yessssssss!!!! So what do you think real world range is on this?
So cool! Love it! Glad I switched my deposit from the V14 to the Lynx! Thanks for the great videos.
It looks to me like having a driver's-side rear-view mirror on your helmet might be a helpful addition.
Does Abs comes in euc.
(Antilock breaking system)
We need the app to be able to set the limit to 25km/h quickly or we can get penalty/confiscation of the wheel. Better to have the apps up😅
Really hope the Veteran fix it.
Do you have the 62 pound suspension on that wheel?
Is it possible to try and use and share EUC World Tour on one of your casual 75km/hr'ish rides (hopefully with at least 50km/hr average riding speed). Just curious how efficient it really is at higher speeds.
13:05
so, my first euc im looking at the v14 but this Lynx is nice too.
these comparisons are great. u changed my mind.
this looks perfect for my urban jungle streets NYC now that i've seen it handle snow.
i wanted that orange color of the v14 but lighter weight + better battery life + and longer range
make this my top choice. just wish i could get panels in orange. everything else ... im sold.
/Bklyn👑
Get the Lynx I’m on it right now stopped for a burrito bowl. It’s so fast it makes me shake when I get off of it. It’s the best wheel money can buy. They have had hell with getting the v14 up to par, hince why I don’t have one. My reviews are harsh. Get the Lynx it’s insane.
Damn, you have to have insane endurance and leg strenght!
hey I grew up in Boulder :D out in washington now though
Wow, I felt like you need to be fully focused whenever you are on this machine. Vitamin B complex and a couple cups of coffee are a must before each ride. Stay safe out there !
Does that wheel have the 50E or the 50S batteries?
I’m thinking of doing a cross country ride on this wheel in the US. Do you think it’s a good idea?
What’s the go to for speed and distance?
What kind of range are you thinking you'll get ?
What you think, better than v13? If you had to choose one?
Bro I bought my first euc two years ago the Begode EXN. Legit just from watching your videos. You had me transition from a onewheel. THANK YOU!!Looking like this is what I want to upgrade to what’s your thoughts?
With they would make a high voltage exn
Hats off
How did you film this? Drone?
Hey Chooch, I didnt get the name of the tire, what model is it ?
Can you coast down a long road with out the juice from the battery?
Do these need registering for the road?
Just curious what the safe range is at 45mph.
Ты счастливый человек👍
It’s been a struggle to find a wheel to replace my v12ht, Rusty. I like the range of the Sherman S, the weight and durability of the Shermax, the simplicity of the v12, and the maneuverability and versatility of the Patton. The Lynx fits right in between and therefore makes it the perfect wheel for me. Have a kiddo coming in January and once she’s here and all is good the Lynx is my next wheel. Definitely getting the h626 on it. Will the Sherman S seats fit the Lynx you think? Also, a bunch of your links are not working anymore dude!
H626 looks like a hybrid tire with some off road capabilities, as seen of the thread design; so a good option
I'm with ya! I'm the other V12ht owner that was discussing it with you on reddit, lol
How are knobby tires in the rain compare to street on pavement
Been waiting for this , thanks
Mfing Chooch!
What happens if you hit a big pothole?
Are you in Boulder often? I'd love to try to get some FPV drone chase footage if that interests you at all...
So awesome! Which range did you get out of this ride?
I've interested too ?
Those are legal to ride on public roads in the US (Colorado)?
hows that react on heavy potholes ?
what batteries do you have in lynx?
Wahoo, I have a Lynx in shipment on the way to me, they were out of 70lb knobbys, so they sent me one with a street tire like you have. I am really stoked.
I got the same as you
@@BigORider I am really liking the Lynx, I am closing in on 1000km (662Miles) on it.
Is a race compound tire available for this?
The fact that this 20 inch Veteran Lynx weighs the same as the 16 inch Veteran Patton indicates a possible Patton 2.0 with the use of the same lightweight magnesium alloy! Imagine the weight reduction 💡🪶
wow the tech is advancing quick. by the time I want to replace my t4 idk what kind of machine are gonna be available
Do some trails like with the exn please.
What a boss
How do you film this? How do you get those angles? It's 360 and everywhere at any time. Are you using a drone to follow you?
Selfie stick
How does it pull the narrows?
how damaged do they get if u crash at high speed?
The thing you said about euc apps and wheeldata in them made me laugh, made me think. Best thing I heard in a long time about wheels.
What’s the top speed? And about how many miles on a full charge?
Are electric skate boards good for high speed like downhills? When i go more than top speed going down an amazing hill, it says its 37 mph but the manufacturer said its top speed is 29mph🤷🏽♂️💎💯
NICE
chooch you really need a helmet miror. i wouldnt take my eyes off of whats in front of me for even a quarter second. just wait till theres a longitudinal crack.. bikes have sometimse went down because of physical road condition. my favorite personal quote is "the pavement don't care how skilled you are". i love that you are appropiately dressed brotha
So what's your average range going full send like that?
What kind of camera is he using?
Awesome review! Really helpful with my current tire-related indecision. Also, app comment was funny as hell! Speaking for myself - I totally agree with not needing to be constantly watching speed; I do however like to use eucw for the periodic voice prompts with battery level, as well as safety margin alerts - both of which are useful if you're pushing hard and neither want to end up walking nor flying!
I wish an EUC company would design a wrap-around, foldable bike frame sort of thing that could be attached to a wheel, so you could switch back and forth from EUC to E motorbike. I feel like standing up the entire time gets tiring, also only having one wheel contacting the ground presents certain safety/speed limitations as opposed to two wheels. Just my thoughts.
For well rounded overall commute and minor trail use. V13 or Lynx?
lynx
1:36 Thats the money shots, right there. Close your eyes if you're sensitive.
Is this licensable for the street?
i just ran into a site where they race these things on a track. It's really cool.
which site ?
@@BombFiya also look for pro class electric unicycle racing 55mph
*You're the only rider of these onewheels online I see who doesn't drive it like a fool ! 👍😇 Thumbs up for you Chooch !😃 You give good advice to riders 👍👍😃*
Yes, riding 45-50mph on a bumpy dirtroad in snow, dirt and salt is smartest advice to all riders out there. Huge Chooch’s uncle comment vibes.
