I love thoose floating plants bro ,that water lettuce and frogbits they really help me providing hiding space for fry but they are very multiplying specially when theya are at direct sunlight

The Santa Clause male looked so tiny in your hand, next to his big plump ladies. Your Red Dumbo Mosaics are, and always will be my absolute favourites though, they are simply stunning specimens.

Would you mind making a vid when you will be sexing your fry albino mosaic dumbo ear ? Since albino is kinda different when it comes to gravid spot.

Good Question. I prefer not to drill holes near the top of the tubs. Therefore, when it rains hard, I scoop water out of the tubs to prevent overflowing. I have to stand in the rain with an umbrella. lol. Take care.

Hello Paul. The large plant is a water lettuce. The plant with the small round petals is called frog bit. Sorry, I don't know what the others are called. After posting the video, I realized I should have stated "water lettuce" and "frog bit" when I was placing them into the tub. Oh well. Thank you for watching and take care.

U are a great breader but one thing I have only one pair of guppy the male guppy past away 3 days before and the female guppy have given birth to 4 Fry's so I saperated the mother from the Fry's soo now can I add a lily plant into my fish tank where the Fry's are there ??

I didn't realize how difficult it is to clean off plants of unwanted "pests." I don't know much about scuds, but I definitely don't want to introduce duckweed into my tanks. I'll definitely take more care and time the next time I add plants.

I have a question. When it rains, do you cover the tubs or let the rain water mix with your tub water?
Hello Darwell. When it rains hard, I use a container to remove water from the tubs. I can't get myself to drill holes near the top of the tub since the tub is very good quality. Take care.

How do you make your water clear? Even though it's always exposed to sun light. My water is always green
Hello Rai. When I set up a new tub, the water turns greeen in 2 weeks. After the alqae grows the water becomes clear. Maybe the water lily helps too. I'm not sure. But, I don't do anything special to make the water clear. Good luck.
Add water Hyacinth it will clear the water...because it feeds a lot of nutrients in the pond and Lilly too help...because they are large floating plants they need more nutirents.
How often do you do water changes? and if you do how much water do you change?

For my tubs. Two weeks after setting up a new tub, the water turns green.. As the algae grows and the plants acclimate, the water slowly becomes clear. I don't do anything special. Take care.
