best breakfast and best coffee we had in Moab. sat right there. even the local cowboy ranchers were eating there.

Guys, this portion of the WE is waaaaay rockier than it looks in the video. Ridden top to bottom is an exercise of Punishing the bike and body but STOKING out your MIND. Love it.
My camera setup makes it look pretty smooth. It is definitely not.
He didn't show us the brutal 1 hour long climb to reach the 11,150 ft pass either! The WE is the hardest ride I have ever done...darn near killed me.
I can assure you for anyone that hasn't rode burro pass. Its really fast!!!

Having just watched your porcupine rim an burro pass vids iv subscribed. uk trails are great but man I wished I lived in moab utah. Great bike skills nate an Co an you have some excellent trails in the us to shred 👍

Hi Nate, I have a quick question, do you always bunny hop obstacles (rocks, logs), or do you also use english bunny hop? I`m wondering whether bunny hop is really necessary for single tracks.

Not sure what an English bunny hop is. Learning to bunny hop will help your riding immensely.

Nice Vid. How long ago did you film this? We are planning a trip to Moab next fall. Don't want to go too late thinking first or second week of Oct.
The weather can go either way in October. I've seen snow about half of the time up high. This was filmed 3 weeks ago.

The tracks vary greatly in time. Some are more than 20 min, some are less than 3 min. Depends on the terrain and location.
What kind of GoPro set up did you use capture such good footage? I'm borrowing a GoPro with a chest mount and will be in Moab this weekend! I'm suuuuuper stoked. What are your tips?
A gimbal makes all the difference. Everything is shot in 4K 30.

what do you prefer the SB6C or the SB5.5C? im leaning towards a 29er.
I have been riding the 5.5 more lately. Still love my 6.

Have you thought about any data overlays for the videos?
The Garmin interface is interesting. GoPro doesn't offer anything like this unfortunately.
You can still use the Garmin software for the over lays with the GoPro video, but its more work and time to match the times up.
How do you record video without shaking?

I think they should have just gone with Ass Pass...catchier name.
This is horrible. When mohntajn biking the trails are supposed to be build around the nature. You don't destroy nature for mountain biking. The beauty of mountain biking is seeing the nature around you and enjoying where you are, seeing the wildlife, nature, the beauty of all of this combined. I hate seeing all of the trees knocked down.
This trail existed long before mountain biking, but cool story.....
