I wish I had watched this yesterday. Someone came over to take a few of my fish. I have some new toe soy that I want to move into the big pond but I want to keep an eye on my fish load and we had quite a time catching just three fish 😂
First, I love that you used the term “legging it” about the fish swimming away from your net. 😂 It’s a cartoon that needs to happen. Second, I was NOT expecting an underwater net cam! Loved that! I will be trying to catch some baby koi in my pond. They are fast and they are onto me and my net. I hadnt thought of the “slicing” motion with the net. That will be helpful. We have had 4 koi for 3 years And suddenly we had a pond full of little baby fish! Those were all supposed to be male koi so either someone Was misgendered or nature found a way. I wish we could keep them all, they are so cute, but our pond is not large enough for 50(ish) full grown koi, so we are giving them away to good homes.
Hiya, thanks for that great feedback. As I said in the video, slow and steady, catches fish... Sounds like a good idea to move on some fish if your pond won't be able to support that many fish..😉😊👍
Ooh sky pond. I am interested in this! I have a infrared underwater camera that one of my kids got me for Christmas last year and I am obnoxious with it. Love being able to see my buddies from that angle. I have it on constantly. It's on the television. I can access it from my phone or my laptop
Hiya, I have a new video released tonight Fri 21st that features the Sky Pond as I look at different ways to fill it following a request from a viewer... 😉👍
Andy, you make me laugh, I think you have just invented a new breed 😁 what you meant was ochiba shiguire. Cross between a chag and soragoi. But what you have is a normal Ginrin ochiba. Is it a Japanese koi? Ochiba Shiguire have got a netted pattern on dark grey. By the way, I don't know if you have noticed but the fish you caught has a red sore on the belly. Might be worth looking at it again.
If you want a floating bowl what I did is get one of the big plastic bowls like you have and I drilled some holes all around the top edge and then zip tied some of the pipe insulation tubes through the holes , I also did the same with one of the crates the supermarket’s use ( the stacking ones with holes in ) then I float it in the pond and if you get the shallow ones the top of fish is out of water and you can scrape fish in the pond and not have to get it out , great vid Andy

Then used a strong jubilee clip. This seems to give me a seal. But when I screwed the elbows onto the pumps they dont seem to screw onto the pumps right they seem tight but i have noticed a leak in the elbow whats your thoughts? The leak comes from the round tightening ring you screw onto the pump. In the future I may need to upgrade the pumps to some thing better perhaps.

Come on now whats wrong with this living in the sun in Spain and getting all UK benefits you can get these payments if you get a UK pension £650 payment one of a series of measures announced by the Chancellor, one-off grant of £300 to pensioners and £150 for those receiving disability benefits. Your rights to claim benefits, tax credits or other financial support are protected by social security arrangements between the UK and other countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). This means you may be able to get UK benefits while living abroad so if you get pensions and all other payments in the Uk when you move to live in Spain you still get them.

“In the unlikely event that a network suddenly failed and ceased to provide services, we would work with alternative suppliers to help customers get reconnected as quickly as possible,” the spokesperson added. “This could be through Openreach or an alternative provider, depending on the circumstances.”
@@KoiPondLifestyle Son on the move again in the next few weeks going to Folly Lane Leek...Moor Lane Ashbourne...Cheadle Rd Uttoxeter...Abbots Bromley Ive told him this time to get me a fish if he finds any place.
We've just had our estate dug up to start to plug us all into Fibre way.. No idea yet what the cost of plugging us in will be yet??
I Used to live in Leek.. if he's here at weekends, give him Peng Koi's address so he can pop in for a browse??😉👍
Im struggling to keep my house running and to keep the fish in the pond and I then find out I can get money from the government if I was living in the warm sunny Spain.
Scary stuff going on at the moment....😞

Hiya, sound like you don't have a vortex at the beginning which is designed to catch the bigger waste straight from the bottom drain. The rest of your system sounds good to me. I've chosen to put the moving media further back for the time being but ive been told the ideal place for it is like yours? If your is working then I wouldn't change it. Sounds like your set up is fine to me..😉👍
