My uncle had an all-Jersey herd in Modesto Ca that was adjacent to an all-Guernsey dairy. They milked about 800-1,000 Guernseys. Into the 60s, they went after the milk volume and introduced more and more Holsteins into the herd. I loved the contrast of Jersey vs. Guernseys, both beautifully colored in their own way.

We dairied when I was young. We had two Guernsey cows in our Holstein herd. Grandpa had me convinced they were where chocolate milk came from. Some 55 years ago now. They are beautiful animals.

I get raw Guernsey milk from a nearby farm, best tasting milk that I've had.

We raise beef cattle, but also used to keep a Guernsey milk cow. She was gentle. Some of our neighbors had Holsteins, but another had Jerseys. Even if the cows are gentle, you have to keep watch on those dairy breed bulls!

Guernsey chese and ice cream is really good u get a lovely golden yellow cheese and butter because of the fat and the proteins such as 95% A2 where the Jersey cow only has 45%A2 and normally milk only has about 15 % of A1 it has a lot more vitamin D it has a lot more calcium and some of the fats from the proteins of the cow has been proven to prevent certain types of cancer it is certainly one of the best milking cows you can get and a very good return on the milk it's a shame a lot more people in the UK won't get our cows I don't understand why because the profit is a lot bigger and Guernsey beef is one of the best beef in cow's going which will give you an even bigger profit

There were a few going to Egypt from the uk but there’s guernseys in Australia, Canada, USA, South Africa New Zealand, Ireland etc
