Surely the solution for SWAG would be to locate and center drill the holes from the backside of the plate (but only partway). That way the customer could identify and finish drilling just the holes that they need for their particular saw?

Nice video, here's a tip that might not be obvious but I my many years of experience I can tell you that it is 10 times more dangerous to be wearing gloves around power tools that bare hands. While it might seam like they are "safety" gloves the reality is if that saw or a drill grabs that glove, it's gonna pull your hand in and do 10 times more damage to you than a little nick or cut you would get with bare skin. I've seen many of these accidents on job sites, in manufacturing plants and in lumber yards. NEVER wear gloves when working with rotating tools!

in this case i totally agree to clint. Being a maschine builder and now certified engeneer for more than 40 years. The most lost fingers or serious hand injuries i have seen are produced by gloves caught by saws, grinders or rolling tools. Therefore it is strictly forbidden to use them in my buiseness. 3:20 I agree with you that SwagOffRoad cheaped out on the mounting plate and yeah they should make one specific plate for each specific model! 8:00 another reason makes assembly more complicated than it should be. But when you ever change model of bandsaw or even brand of bandsaw then your covered with the extra holes but most do stick with one perticular brand and just upgrade from old to new model within that brand so in that case Swag could eliminate half of holes in the plate version you ordered.
