Such as that house sized, raging inferno, with teeth. How happy was I to see they had returned from the previous games DLC? Not at all, the first time I ran into one. Stupid bear...
5. Stormbird and Dreadwing in the center, Slaughterspine to the right, Thunderjaw to the left, and Tremortusk to the right. I’ve called it “Apex Peaks” since they are all the most difficult machines, apex or not.
I like the battles when you are in the midst, and have to switch between weapons and even weapon skills on the fly based on which attack is optimal. Great job! 🏆
Those areas around mountains are perfect harvesting spots for the upgrade resources you need, they are not part of any mission or errand. Take you're time and slaughter them all. Don't forget the tremortusk to the North also
I finally happened across this fight for the first time last week. Came so, so close to first-timing it, then my dumb ass decided it'd be a good idea to use a propelled spike at almost point-blank range against the birb while it was on the ground. Had a great time though, 10/10 would explode again

Why ride only Sunwing and not Stormbird or Dreadwing? Why ride only Bristleback, Charger and Clawstrider? and not Thunderjaw, Tremortusk or Slaughterspines?
Hopefully the sunwing was just a test for this game and in the next we'll have a variety of other machines to fly on. But I can understand why they wouldn't make the big and huge machines rideable, because they could easily 1 shot every machine unless it's another big. Unless you mean we can ride them and still have that timer over their head and just ride them to aim our attacks at a certain machine. If you mean by no timer then they'll be too OP.
I skyrimed myself up and I think they removed the possibility of an apex stormbird here before you get the sunwing. I murked them twice with the boltblaster and range master combo but not a single apex stormbird
I'm wondering how many different Apex Machines you can bring without cheating in one same spot and take em all on? Did they'll will get friendly fire each other when dodging all of them? How long you will survive? Can be done that stunt without cheating/hacking/modding? Too many questions nor answered? Can you answer all my questions?

Except it isn’t the shield weaver armor. That armor doesn’t exist in Forbidden West. You get a similar effect with a valor surge, but it isn’t the original OP armor.

it's totally worth it, but I recommend that first you buy the first game "Horizon Zero Dawn" and then you get this one. Zero dawn shouldn't be that hard to find at a good price since it came out some years ago. But yeah for forbidden west it's gonna take a a while for the prices to drop since it came out barely weeks ago.

Can you explain why plasma is useful? Because I've used the forgefall and I've dealt only like 300 damage at max against an enemy that's weak to it

Guerilla has stated that the camera would have to zoom too far on huge machines, making controlling hard

What bow are you using in the upper right slot (ice/fire/acid)? Been looking for that exact combo in one bow for ages.
You need to do all bandit camps not outposts then do the hidden one kill the boss loot and boom got it
called the Sun Scourge, get it by completing att rebel camp quests, then killing and looting their leader Asera in first forge.
You can get it after completing all rebel camps (not outposts), after that there's a side quest with Erend and and you get the Sun Scrouge as a reward
