Natravnen synger i skumringen -en snurrende lyd

A Nightwatch for a Nightjar.The Nightjar sing in the night-well some would not call it song, but every bird will sing with its own Bill. Videoen er taget en aften med naturvejleder i Tranum plantage.Desværre så vi ikke Natravnen tæt på, men vi kunne høre den tydeligt!

I am almost sure they didn't kill the bird. The "claps" you can hear are -have I read-a way you can attract the bird. It is illegal to kill the birds and it was a ranger who was with them, so I think they were just observing and listening to the birds.

Finally I know for sure that this sound is the nightjar/natteravn and not frogs! 😅 I can hear it almost every spring somewhere behind my old family summer cottage. I need to read more about this bird ❤ Because the area the sound seems to come from has a small but long bog, I thought it was a frog chorus at first.
