A Beginner's Guide To Rclone

- Rclone is a free, powerful, command line tool that you can use to back up and sync files to storage devices, network storage, and to cloud services such as Amazon S3, BackBlaze, Google Cloud, Google Drive, etc. It's available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and more.
In this video, I'll show you how to set up Rclone, how to sync files to the cloud, how to set up an automatic backup, and more.
This is an update video from my original Rclone for Windows video.
ERROR CORRECTION:
When filtering multiple folders of the same name, use something like temp/** to match all folders and its contents. *temp* will match all files and folders that have "temp" in the name.

Thanks for the info DeAndre. I only saw you manually run a sync, or schedule a sync/backup at set intervals. Is rclone able to sync a local folder between 2 different cloud services in real-time? The folder is stored locally and syncs to Dropbox in real-time, but I'd like to also sync it to OneDrive. Many thanks :)
Rclone doesn't do real time sync. But, you could set up a task schedule to run the sync script like every 1 minute or hour or whatever. You'd want to set the script to not open the terminal window tho. lol

Is it very difficult to configure rclone with Onedrive personal? Obtaining credentials seems complicated in the Microsoft portal

Fantastic video and I learned some valuable info from it but also became a bit confused. I am trying to transfer lots of data from old NAS (Netgear ReadyNAS) to a new NAS (QNAP) on the same network. I have clone installed on both NAS's. reclone on Snap is an App. I don;t have a PC as I use Apple Macs (Mac mini & MBP). Your video was excellent but I get confused as to which server is which and how to apply the steps on a Mac - Would appreciate any advice - thanks

rclone sync doesn't work for large files, how to solve this ?
