Just my opinion, Copy trading need large sum in your account. Because we don't keep track,. FYI, The trader you copy, they can open 40 trade at one time. If 1 trade is $20. 40 trade is $800. If your account is low, very fast will get margin call. Don't rush because i got burnt. At the moment, i wont trade until got enough capital. Finally, i would say copy trading, you can make money if you got enough capital.
Usually when I copytrade I look the profile, and the average of trades he open in a week, after that is just, (Your capital)/trades per week, and thats your margin

I think not knowing charges is not your fault for not reading. Companies know that the majority does not actually read them. That's why other companies even give quizzes before trading to force the users to learn the important things. Knowing the nature of the majority of people and doing something about it is how it should be. There should be a very noticeable warning about those fees.

Hi denis I started trading recently, I deposited 500 usd and lost 380 usd on my first week of trading and I recover my lost of 380 usd and make additional 150 usd in another 4 weeks, hella roller coaster ride for me, for me I don’t close my position even though I’m floating at 200 usd, but it depends on news and confidence on my position, because I’m only trading gold it’s quite volatile haha, so currently I’m tempted to copy trade to not stress myself up trading myself, understand that copytrade don’t make as much as self trade but I’m still surveying atm.
dont copy trade, stick to your strategy and follow your rules and trade for yourself. When you arent actively trading, bend your rules on a demo account to find ways to improve your strategy. Otherwise, you are basically giving your money to someone you dont even know and hoping they dont blow it

I think that it could be a matter of how long had you been copying these traders. Copying them only a few days probably wasn't parallel to the expected holding time of assets of people you copied. Maybe you had short-term philosophy while copying long-term philosophy traders (investors). What if they ended with profit after longer time?
the best way to trade is having a consistent strategy and aiming small profits, being patient for the market to give you signals according to your strategy etc

Trading 212 is just an online broker, all you need is IC and some basic proofs. IBKR is much more “formal” type of broker imo. I’m still looking into it as I will be using IBKR soon, hopefully

They are copied as long as the lead trader specifies them. Note that many traders are working on Naga using trading terminals (MT5) and control their positions from there - either manually or with the help of expert advisor systems. Thus they control their risk even if it's not obvious from the Naga UI.
Only way you can make money is a long term. Not short term. You can trade forex with investing $500.00? I am very familliar with Meta trade 4 and 5 Even with $1000.00 investment, you can lose if you trade on short term.

No problem. To answer that, it depends on where you’re from. But my best advice is to do some research into index funds investing, and to invest with a trusted platform like Interactive Brokers (the one I’m using). Look into those and you’ll roughly know where to get started
