Property Description:
"At the center of it all, are two villas designed by the Dutch artist Xander Spronken. A sculpture? Not quite... A house? Not exactly... This Spanish retreat is the culmination of both. It greets you with its host of 6 meters high pillars that do not loom so much as they soar.
The villas are composed of large floor-to-ceiling windows that provide magnificent views of the Iberian mountains with the 1.800m high Penyagolosa summit as its centrepiece. Accessed via a private gate the 7 hectares private property consists of two separate houses with each its own swimming pool. Both houses are equipped with air-conditioning, floor-heating, large fitted kitchens, lounge areas, and two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each. Additionally, the houses are build 100% energy neutral.
A sculpture that has no rhythm but with details inspired by the ancient Fibonacci sequence. Fifty-four concrete pillars carry a roof of old mooring posts that were once a part of Rotterdam Harbour that weigh down on you bringing back a sensation of earthing and rooting.
In this tour we visited the local winery, that serves Spains Best Michelin Restaurants, we tried the homemade bread from the flour from Spanish Mountains, we met the local goats and experienced a warm hospitaly of the Dutch Owner, Joris Dassen of what it is supposed to be Spains Most Unique Home!!

Thanks! =) Brings back so many childhood memories of total freedom, wilderness and adventure... When my grandpa cultivated his land and built his house it looked a little bit like this. Of course with less style, originality and cojones but with the same mindset. Kudos to everyone involved and passionate to be and stay a part of the land and people living there! Unfortunately, by now my grandpa's plot and house are basically "surrounded" by a fuckload of cookie cutter houses with high and fugly iron grid fences. City slickers want their escape to be boring and isolated :/

I like your videos and like your attitude a lot but I think this house is overrated. They're plenty of countryside homes just like this. Of course smaller maybe but still.
