I'm thrilled that the 1967 version of Far From The Madding Crowd has finally been released on region 1 dvd. Now the same should be done for this hard to find 1998 version. I've seen it on youtube but I'd love to have it on DVD to have it join the other one on my shelf. Lovely video, great song choice! Thanks for posting!

Good Thomas Hardy women there, i liked Elfride Swancourt's spirit despite the ending, and she saved Henry Knight from certain death on the cliff, and she played Chess very well. Would love the BBC or someone to adapt that.
My favourite Hardy woman was Emily Downe, i've done a tribute if you or any youtuber care's to see.
