"Executed for their own safety" is probably the best line I ever heard.
Jiří Seidl it's so legit
Jiří Seidl yup.
No one else can hurt them now...
It has been used historically.
a genuine LOL moment
Fun fact about the Death Star. The paint needed to cover it is equal to the blood in 2-billion bodies.
Also known as Alderaan.
Should’ve painted it red?
Lmfao
Also it is powered by a khorn Bloodthirster.
Ah! Yes! It'd charge 3 times faster! Genius!
Alderaan deserved that
Big miss in forgetting Order 66. The massacre of the Jedi Temple alone could easily displace the village on Jakku at number 9.
Jedi`s are evil no one cares about them!
Have you not listened to Allen?
NEVER FORGET THE JEDI ORDER
but the number are not great ,when talk about massacre people are more talke about number .
Thay where only like 10,000 strong the scale is a bit off.
As I said, the victims at the Jedi Temple alone easily outstrip those at the Jakku village. Unless the Jedi Purge doesn't count for some reason, the exclusion of Order 66 is definitely an oversight.
For that matter, Anakin's destruction of the Tusken Raiders in Attack of the Clones, the Empire's slaughtering an entire Sandcrawler's worth of Jawas in A New Hope, and Luke and company killing off Jabba and all his friends might well equal the lower levels of the list.
"Executed for their own safety..."...LOL
John Davidson what does he mean by that?
George Nassif it means they were Executed for their safety
What about the droid attack on the wookies
There were many MANY more atrocities than just the Disney canon. The Legends series is riddled with it. Vader's removal of all water on Ghlonderine B (it was a populated ocean world and species) Ruhk's people whom Vader defoliated their planet to "keep them in line" (Thrawn trilogy). And lest we forget the absolutely devastating Yuuzan Vong invasion with over 300 quadrillion sentients murdered by these beings. The list is endless.
Thats a meme we cannot afford to lose
Dang never heard that before so original
Deathstrike_YT this is canon not legends
Swishy Swampy knee it would be here
In Warhammer those arent Massacres, there just a Tuesday.
Kamen Astartes! In the name of the Emperor I subject this heretic planet to exterminatus!
*smash face to exterminatus button*
who the hell cares about warhammer it's the annoying kid when that gives itself all the powers on the playground and whines when no one wants to play with them
Leonard Church hey church
Heretics
star wars really does actually no joke show that both sides can do terrible acts in the name of war and peace.
The flag may be different, but the methods are the same
@@patrickdonovan2323 eyyyyy Reznov
Unless of course it the Disney since in their movie, only the “bad” do evil stuff
The destruction of the death star were okay if you work on that project you go down, the scare people into peace excuse is no excuse, you're still using the threat of killing entire planet populations to scare people into submission under a fascist goverment, you don't get to do that and then protest when a farm boy saves the galaxy from that weapon by blowing you up.
@@davidbadillomirete8226 For most of the people on the death star it was just a job. they had nothing to do with firing the weapon.
Gungan massacre?
Mon Calamari extermination?
Sith Holocoust?
That race, Thrawn murdered, because he did not understand them through art?
Guys, say "Canon", "Legends" or "both" in the title, it will make things easier
Honest Happy Hater too many to list in Legends
Darth Malak's bombardment of Taris as well. Then there's Kype Durron's use of the Sun Crusher, and the whole Yuuzhan War has several massacres.
Jacob Clark
Yeah, also anihilations of Katarr, Nathema and Ziost
Dave Chrome
It's not what it sounds like. It was not the Sith, who conducted the holocoust. It was the Jedi. That's why there were so few Sith by the time of Revan's empire, that's in large part why there were almost no Sith by the time of the Clone Wars.
I'm speaking about a Sith race, not order or set of believes
Eh, it's unlikely the group Thrawn wiped out were on the same scale as Alderaan, Hosnia, Starkiller Base, or either Death Star - though there is a _big_ jump in scale on this list, as it goes from heavy-handed riot control and platoon-level policing actions straight to planetary mass murder. As for canon/Legends, maybe they're planning a Legends-only follow-up? Personally, when they mentioned Coruscant, I'd thought they were leading into the Yuuzhan Vong campaign, where Coruscant was one of a number of worlds that burned, though listing the campaign as a whole would probably have given it the #1 spot for sheer scale.
Penalty: Execution by DS-1 Orbital Battle Station
it's a quick way to go
Allbuch [DE] Quick and painless...................Well that is unless you count being horrified by the massive super weapon.
Crime: Living On A Jedi Historic Planet
10:17 "Death is rarely good. Especially when it's humans versus humans." Take note all residents of Earth.
Aaron William Cox yeah! We all need to unite and stop fighting each other!
We could accomplish so much
When will we learn the importance of uniting? I mean, just think of the high tech military uniforms; with super exoskeletons, shoulder mounted rocket launchers and mini-guns for every single soldier. We could kill so many giant spiders... and that would be glorious.
Bidmartinlo Yeah fuck spiders! Haha
Elias Stein Yeah! Lets murder some aliens!
*I will bring peace, justice and security to my new empire!*
Anakin_ your new Empire?
Alright...see you in Star War Infinities #4...if it existed at all.
But hey at least you have a fanfiction named 'One missed strike'.
Except for planets with alot of Sand.. Or High ground.. Or both right?
Revolutionary Gaming13 *Don’t make me kill you.”*

Who else is still irritated at how long the necks of the Star Destroyers in Rebels are?
Fadel Sukoco YES FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE
Just because it's inspired by Ralph McQuarrie's art doesn't mean it doesn't look like a first draft...
Fadel Sukoco that $#!¥ design sucks! Did Galen Erso design that?!
It looks off. Doesn't mean I let it bug me a whole lot. I just enjoy the show.
thats a......strange thing to care about

RIP all the innocents that were killed in the heinous destructon of the Death Star by the terrorist rebels. #HumanityFirst
N E V A
*N E V A H !*
We were talking about battle of yavin right? #empiredidnothingwrong
I recommend you watch Starship Troopers. It's a very Humanity First movie.
Joshua Wells -I'm doing my part! Mobile Infantry rules! Kill'em all!
Well done Citizen
I wonder if the Arachnids are related to the Geonosians.
Oh don’t worry I love starship troopers even the crappy sequels
If you're the leader and need to decrease the surface population then have your people join the mobile infantry. The bugs will take care of them
1,179,293 imperials died on that station including the people who fired the laser death star 1.
Actually, with regards to the Hosnian Holocaust, I can only imagine Tarkin doing a slow clap. Now thats some truely exemplary mindless brutality
Doesn't that pretty much give Domnhall Gleeson the highest cinematic kill count of any actor in history?
No, Josh Brolin beats him for killing half an entire universe
weldonwin agreed
@@weldonwin Thanos is a shitty villain
@@weldonwin For the one you said about the slow clap, I actually imagine Tarkin shedding a tear in his eye as he'd be proud of what the First Order did, even possibly wishing he would actually oversee it personally.
What about the Rebels destruction of the Imperial garrison at Lothal?
The Rebels killed hundreds of Imperials with out giving them the chance to defend themselves or surrender. Including but not limited too...
The group of officers that they had captured
Medics as (well as wounded)
Civilian workers
The children from the academy
When Mon Motha said to Saw “you target civilians, kill those who surrender, break every rule of engagement” well it looks like Hera and her friends are no better than he was, but none of them where ever punished for that.
Joshua Dunford that's because nobody in the rebelliom saw it, and after all every rebel is a terrorist, only thing gerrera wasnt hiding it
so yeah there were no civilians on board the code used was one used for redeployment of all forces and the dome, so its unlikely that either the students or the civilians were on board when it was destroyed. Also good to note that even if that was the case the reason Mon Motha and the rebels as a whole wouldnt say anything is because they refused to help when asked and making an enemy of both one of your best generals and the planet they liberated would have been a very stupid idea, so yeah still surprised Mon Motha didnt try seeing how big an idiot she was.
MrEcoho most imperial workers where civilians as seen in the episode "an inside man" and they count as imperial personal, so i think they did kill a lot of them
im still skeptical, then again the way lothal was being treated by the empire not sure if it matters who was on board to those living there.
MrEcoho so if a person life doesnt matter to you is ok to kill them? See whats wrong with you rebels?
Starkiller base is a copy of the Death Star and they still blew it up the same way 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒
Nerf Jedi master Adam they kept force unleashed out of canon yet they let anyone use a lightsaber like a pro and make a bloody planet into a multiple shot death star
Rip
only there were no y-wings
Nerf Jedi master Adam how would they Else destroy it?
Alex the gamer a ship going through the spot where the laser is shot from
This list is incomplete but you can help by expanding it
lol
Some of worst massacres I can think of were Operation Cinder Order 66 and the following Jedi Purge.
RadBadJad meh, when compared to legends a lot of these seem like childsplay...
Peter Osborne like the yuuzhan vong wars. Or what about if emperor vitiate successfully kill the entire galaxy.
RadBadJad kyp duron killing entire solar systems or the early republic almost wiping out the Sith species
Peter Osborne do you mean the red pureblood Sith because the Sith of a full embracement of the dark rather than individual species. They're short of based like the mandalorians.
RadBadJad I mean the Sith holocaust with the purebloods. The republic beat them in the war and kind of took revenge a bit too far...
"State-of-the-art, peace-keeping station..."
Sounds legit.
9:04 I think the Empire used gas bombs because they were found in rebels and there was no damage to the surface of Geonosis.
"A heroic charge doesn't come without an enemy to skewer."
Whoa.
You forgot the last Jedi that was a epic Massacre on the entire history of StarWars .
haha no
haha yes
@@da-vidcargill4975 haha yes
Yes! Thank you!
Tarkin killed the Empire
What about the radio star?
I agree.
@@monkeymonk666 That was video i'm afraid.
This episode was really deep. A death is a death, doesn't matter who is dying. A very powerful anti-galactic-war message.
Qui Gon Gin tried to make a treaty with the trade federation.
Started 9 episodes of galactic war
it was a trap though
Could you please do a video about The Expanse? It's some of the best sci-fi in a decade!
Check his generation films acc, he might have some stuff on it by now
You should do a top 10 of the expanse
*Laughs in Warhammer 40K*
Daniel Newbitt
Hahaha
I made the same exact comment
Good name btw
I approve
O my god we are talking about STAR WARS why in every star wars halo mass effect video always ypu warhammer fanboy kid need to launch shit against the video its always the same a video of human-covenant war of halo no warhammer better a video of jedi and sith no warhmer better you licke warhammer? Good for you the 80% of the people they are not interentaed in your stupid comment of warhammer is better than anyome else.
i discovered warhammer a few months ago wtf is this franchise like one minute a billion million robots, humans, human robots, aliens, zombies,..... fight on a planet wide front and then kaaaaboooom the planet blows up and then it shows some marine killing humans that are on the same side. oooouu and they travel throught hell to get to other planets.
wtf
Alessio Barty geez, _calm down_
Geonosians...Good thing those bugs can't aim!
*Invasion goes to utter shit*
Sayvion Washington indeed
Andrei Morar that clone's name must be jinx if i have a soldier name jinx in my transport going into a battlefield I will kill him straight away
Thank you! Thank you Allen for shining the light of hard truth on these topics.
Please cover the Expanse! :) There are plenty of awesome events there to mine.
00:16 "Star Wars probably has the worst massacres of any Disney franchise"...
*Thanos snaps fingers*
This channel should have 500K plus subs...Great work!
I love how the destruction of Alderaan and Hosnian Prime weren’t included
Edit: I hadn’t watched the full video yet, but it would have been interesting if these weren’t included
Number 1 has to be when the first order used starkiller base to destroy like ten planets right?
While you are right, you have a very curious system of rounding up numbers.
Order 66?
no?
ok I guess the collapse of the republic and the almost destruction of the jedi order wasn't really that important...
Order 66 wasn't a massacre. The Jedi were planning to overthrow the republic and even tried to arrest Supreme Chancellor (and later our beloved Emperor) Palpatine. To say otherwise is Rebel propaganda!
Palpatine still ordered the death of all the jedi, if you would count Tarkin simply landing his ship on some protesters than order 66 as a massacre then i suggest you look up the word in the dictionary cause it says "an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of many people." regardless of previous events.
starkiller x20 yes but it was a battle, as the Jedi fought back. They notably all died with a weapon in hand. Rather than most dying while asleep, off duty or just sitting around doing nothing, as with the Deathstar destructions.
Also the Jedi if you want to give it a label is more accurately a genocide.
all im going to say is there was a lot of killing, just dont get triggered so hard next time
Considered a genocide not a massacre, as a massacre is not bassed off of religion and race as well as they were isolated incidents. A genocide is bassed off of religion and race as well as being spread out
Darth Malak:
"What? How can you do this?! This is outrageous! It's unfair! *how can i destroy Taris and not be on the top 10 generation tech list*"
What about the droid attack on the wookies?
Now I want to see a horror film with a bunch of guys fighting off a bunch of deer with knifes
Are Mandos Humans?
Also, I would be very interested to see a complete hierarchy of species, from the lowest scum to the shining paragons of perfection, from the team who developed the Humanity First Doctrine :)
The Mandalorians are a culture, not an ethnic group. I imagine there are Mandalorians of many species.
Danuki L (talking legends here don't know what they decided in canon) the mandos were originally a species but ended up becoming more a culture encompassing many species who shared the same lifestyle
The original Mandalorians were a species known as the Taung, who were native to Coruscant and waged war against early humans, eventually being forced off the planet, eventually settling on Mandalore. They recruited other species (mostly humans) into their ranks, and were rare by the Mandalorian Wars, and extinct by the time of the Great Galactic War.
Keep up the great work! May the force be with you
You are excellent at your video construction. Possibly best on you tube with this subject matter. May the force be with you
I'd say that putting luke on par with tarkin is unfair. Both death stars (even if you can even account both on luke's kills list) were military bases. Meanwhile Tarkin (by screen cannon alone) is known to order a fire at 3 different CIVILIAN targets: City of Jedha, Imperial's Archives (on this one you could argue how much civilian it was tho since whole garrison thing - but it purpose was mostly storing data so it's still kinda big library) and biggest of them all - Alderaan.
Luke would have trouble to catch up with that civilian death count even if he actually tried, just sayin'
Luke had nothing to do with the actual destruction of the Second Death Star, it was Wedge Antilles and Lando who took out the main reactor.
well he was there and participated in operation ;) didn't play a huge role in the operation's success tho indeed. Hence "even if" part ;)
*mentions evil Bambi
TAKE THAT VEGANS
The Sanctuary Moon of Endor had its own shield. Aside from the shield protecting the Death Star, it also had a shield covering itself, which is why the Rebel Fleet couldn't just send Y-Wings or fire turbolasers on it. Hence why the heroes had to carjack a shuttle to get in there, and why no amount of debris crashed onto the moon.
You really make people rethink the events of the STARWARS Universe. At least; I do.
#endorwasacoverup
#whyisewokmeatsoexpensive
Shipping is tough, the empire keeps stacking taxes on Ewok meat.
why Ewok meat so expensive? It’s simple a lot of them were shot by stormtroopers that’s why
Because those furry little bastards aren't that easy to catch, LOL. And they're really hard to see in all that ground cover and shrubbery.
Star Warsbacon13 Destroyer their like diamonds...
overpriced as shit
Lol, I love how it sounds like you're sympathetic to the empire
#11, the star forge and all those sith lives by the jedi in republic in the good canon ending to Kotor....
Where is republic vs earth

What about the Sith Pure blooded
I thought I subscribed a few months ago and I wondered why I never get notified about your new videos lol
You know its Generation Tech when he starts by saying that Bambi could be a murderer.
Bears and sharks united is terrifying add fire arms you have the most onsided war since Star wars Vs Star Trek we all know whos better.
All of them pale to slautherfests that usually happen in Real Canon (a.k.a. Legends). Except, maybe, Starkiller Base incident, but that shit's so ridiculous that even Warhammer40k laughs at how stupid it was.
But 40k planets also have like 100,000,000 people living on them
You forgot three additional zeroes in that number. And that for "Imperial" class world. For "Hive" class world (usual targets for Chaos/Genstealer cults, which usually ends in Exterminatus) add another three zeroes.

i can imagine the Battle Over Coruscant caused billions in collateral, the collateral damage caused on Canto Bight could dent any Venator that went down
That was the most ignorant statement about wildlife I’ve ever heard
Thank you
Generation Tech no seriously you are misleading people. 200 deaths caused my car crashes because the deer have nowhere to go and have to keep migrating. How are they deadly? 5 years driving I've never even hit a animal. Ignorance on the road is what kills people. Fuck that statement.
FeedingYou Information Dude it is a joke. don't get triggered so easily, not a healthy way to live my dude.
bmetz01 I'm cool bro. I'm just pointing out a misleading "fact" that people are gonna use to go and kill more deer. Lol people crazy man. I'm just saying.
Deer don’t really kill anyone, it’s people not paying attention to them crossing the road and hit them. Lol how would you like it if you and your mom were just eating then next thing you know she gets blasted? Bambi didn’t go on a revenge killing spree lmao

monologue was off the rack! damn did you write that? "might grow up to be a murderer" fuck that is gold!
4:30-6:05 I've seen this movie before, and I didn't think it was a massacre I just thought that it was a normal battle
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Yuuzhan Vong War as that decimated the galaxy.
I find the way you frame things very amusing :)
LOL. First entry on the list, I read as "Cushing Peasants" LOL
What ! The entire massive first order hided from the new Republic for 3 decades ! What the hell is that . They made starkiller base and wiped out a system. Till then what was the Republic doing ?
Thrawn : Traces down where the tiny ghost almost every time
Vs
Republic : Don't even know there is a giant space torpedo ready to blast them off ?
Question 1 what were the planetary shields doing ?
Question 2 Republic didn't had single spy ? Did they had eyes also ? Leave the spy
Question 3 someone aims gun at you at point blank and you don't even know it ?
Question 4 how first order managed to recruit so many stormtroopers ? I mean from where did they got money
And are those people mad to knowingly join forces of evil ?
Hay you guys should do Warhammer lore your channel seems like it would be perfect for that kinda stuff
We need a full series on the Old Republic using the animation and style of the cinematic scenes in SWTOR. I demand it.
3:28
Small portion? The Star Wars comics reveal that half the moon was destroyed.
Separatist attack on the Wookiee and Order 66 should’ve made the list!
*Last Geonosian egg hatches
*A male comes out
Last Geonosian: F**K!
Nobody gonna question the fact that Darth Vader is holding up the middle finger at 7:00?
I wouldn’t call either Death Star destruction a massacre because they were in definition military targets and assets
9:38
The republic was getting ready to fully evacuate the planet on the bottom left of the screen
Also , execute order 'kill them all'
I can’t unsee the millennium falcon without the cockpit on his shirt
Generation Tech: Starkiller Base firing is the worst massacre in Star Wars
Me: *LAUGHS IN NAGA SADOW*
Great video as always, but I was kind of hoping for massacres outside the Disney canon.
Might be worth mentioning that deers kill people by being the object that your car crashes into.
Also let’s not forget the droid attack on the gungan underwater city on Naboo! Whole reason the gungans actually helped the Naboo take back the city against Nute Gunray
Star Wars is full of many massacres not in this list, especially if we’re including things not shown in films: Malak’s Destruction of Taris, Darth Nihilus on Katarr, the Jedi purges (there have been at least two: first during the Jedi civil war, then 3000 years later during order 66), Malachor V at the end of the mandalorian wars, and probably many others that I don’t know about.
The moon of Endor could never have been that devastating after the Death Star's destruction. It would only effect that one part and there was also a lot of troops making their last stand.
They also didnt kill Gizor Dellso a Geonosian CIS leader who escaped and turned on the droid factory on Mustafar during the reign of the Empire. Vader sent the 501st after him that ended the last CIS leader.
I'm shocked the Dak... 'cleaning' wasn't included,
I mean I know it's canon but I hear massacre I think of a mass of floating bodies so big it's mistaken for a landmass
What about the info from Force Unleashed 2. Like the Massacre of Rhador and the Citadel of Ebenmal.
Malak *standing on the bridge of his ship orbiting Taris covered in hundreds of trillion of scorched sentient being bodies* - "Am I a joke to you?"
The destruction if the Death Star never made it to public news and was barely even known about. Instead the public heard about the remarkable success of the 281st Imperial Fighter Wing.
0:24 "bears that have teamed up with sharks"
Hahahahahahah... But I do wonder...
My reaction to most things “Damn...” My reaction to 9 “Eh, they’re alien pest it’s all good”
Fun fact : FN in French is a far right party. So in the movie (episode 7) when Finn says : I’m FN
Poe GOes : oh that’s not good !

Palpatine, “For a safe, and secure society.”
Me, “Safe and secure my butt.”
Please do a video about The Expanse!
What about the Krytos trap from legends, that was quite a masacre but not in the conventional sense
Remember: on Geonosis, bugs squash you... I think.
