Hey, I recently fixed some issue using a video of yours. It always seems that whenever I have any issues with my omen pc, you are the only one with answers. Keep up the amazing work!!
Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If they made a full keyboard would have to get this for work!! great video as always Dan!!
Thanks Nate 🤝🤝🤝
Very informative video!
Thanks buddy
Great review.
Thanks Fredo!
Volume knob in keyboard is a big plus, really like that feature. Mine is on the speaker wires and I have to reach for it.
So, magnetic. Would gluing a big magnet under the desktop where your keyboard would be drive Dan nuts? 😆
Hahaha, funny part is that they say not to place the keyboard near any kind of magnetic surface
What is the Wrist rest you use for this?
Nice
🤝🤝🤝
Miss ur old room dam
Dan* Nah, I like this room more
good!
Thanks!
WE NEED AN UPDATED SETUP VID!!
Yes sir! 🫡
These new magnetic switches are actually crazy. The lowest setting for the level of how hard you need to click it for it to work is kinda like my keyboard now 😆its very sensitive
Hey Max! That would be tough to use if it’s that sensitive! Thanks for the comment 😀
You should have covered how you need to pry open the case to get inside which is a nightmare for moddability. There's also no space for more foam as it has a flimsy clip on design which is a bummer. DrunkDeer also has a high deadzone at like 0.2-0.4mm or something between that as they have problems with chattering and rt issues which means it's not true 0.1mm it's more like 0.3 or 0.4. There's also pretty deceptive marketing on their website so overall the Chinese hall effect keyboard market isn't looking great aside from atk68 and atk75 which seem to be the top performing Chinese boards atm. There's also the lamzu pro keyboard and they plan on eventually releasing their own firmware which should place it on the same tier as the atk68 when that does come out
Good video tho, just thought these points should be noted as I own the board myself and have had a very bad experience with both it and the brand DrunkDeer (I got a refund which was good but it was probably as damage control to hush me cuz I was telling people about all the issues my board had and there's better alternatives anyways)
I wish I could buy those switches. I can't find where to do it. =(
I believe these switches are proprietary to the DrunkDeer board unfortunately, so not sure where you could get them.
you can but then hall sensor is always part of the PCB... Gateron which makes the lekker and probably supplies to everyone else sells the switch BUT not the hall sensor that is required... then you need the software to be able to decipher that. Corsair in their K70MAX with the MGX keys (magnetic-hall effect) needed a firmware flash to get that operational.
@@figuwx6284 Tell me please, do you know the name of a particular model of hall sensors that will work perfectly on such a board? It must be an SMD component. Please tell me the full name of the model if you know it. Thanks!
@@MaxDetaLGaplevskino clue, you would have to tear apart the keyboard and look at the smd to get what it is (assuming it is still marked).
You really sound like the needle drop.
Interesting, I watch a decent amount of his content on TikTok, I guess we do sound similar!
