Hey guys!!! I've been getting some questions on how to make sure the twists stay tightly wound up so here's a tip! As you twist the other side, the first twist will unravel a bit as it is hanging down. This is totally fine - just make sure that before tying the fabric at the back, re-twist the end of the first side while it is still sectioned off so its tight before adding the bow! This will bring back the original tightness. Hope this helps! xo

Sometimes I get so sad looking at pretty girls. I just wanna be pretty in an obvious way you know? Not in a “if you look at her in a certain angle” or in a “everyone’s pretty” way
I'm sorry you feel like this :( I struggle with self image and honestly I feel like the "at certain angles" applies to me too. i think we are our worst critics and being constantly praised for beauty isn't necessarily a great thing because it puts so much worth on looks. I know i don't like being looked at, so when I do look nice and get attention from strangers it makes me sweat and want to hide :/ I'm sure you ARE beautiful in many ways
I don't know you or how you look like but I understand what you mean and I agree that it would have been nice. However, Jackie is right, we are our worst critics. Even people that are considered extremely beautiful believe they have flaws, even though by looking at them we would never have guessed that. It's completely normal not to feel 100% satisfied with your looks but I'd like to suggest that you start looking at you differently. Don't be so harsh on how you look, try to see the nice features on your body, which I am pretty sure are a lot more than the ones you consider bad. If you stop focusing on the ones you don't like, you'll feel more comfortable and confident in your skin and you'll see that attractiveness isn't really in looking perfect or flawless.
I always got compliments on my hair. Now, because of stress, I lost a lot of hair and its condition is horrible. I feel like I lost something really precious and definitely increased low self esteem. So it's not all that great .... 😅
Start loving what you have on the inside and I can promise you (from experience) that your outside will start mirroring that inner beauty. You are already beautiful 🤗

Very ethereal and romantic. Love the Kandee Johnson line. Interesting because methods like this were, at one in history, the only way to curl hair. Goes to show, old methods are just as good as new methods.

You look like a beautiful Pre-Raphaelite painting Jackie! The tips about winding the thin ends around the thicker twist so they don't get crazy tight and wrapping the elastic around the tie so you can easily release it are genius!!

What I love about this is I’m a medical lab scientist and I’m always trying to find new ways to put my hair up for work that won’t break it, and won’t put kinks or lines in my fine hair. This I could totally wear to work or out running errands and getting the kids, and then take down for date night/dance class, whatever. I hope it works on my super fine strands though. I always have trouble keeping curls from falling super fast.

Oh my gosh I am so excited to try this! I also have long and thick hair, and since I'm awful at using a curling iron I'm always looking for ways to do heatless curls, but methods like traditional pin curls just don't work on my hair. But this looks like it'll be perfect! :D

This is the best technique for overnight curls, I tied my hair for half an hour and it worked and also after brushing my hair did hold the curls..thanks for this tip

Is it possible for hair to be too thick for this? Like I am tightening it as tight as it goes and securing it at the bottom, but it unfolds. My hair feels like a tug-of-war rope, it got so thickly twirled and heavy.

Aww this is my favorite trick to get curly hair! ❤️🔥 The first time I've tried it I was really stunned. Nothing seems to works as great as this to curl my thin hair and keeping it for a long time. For example, I've used the braids trick for a while but most of the time I resemble a poodle in a few hours. 🥺 And it's also very comfortable to wear while sleeping, isn't it? 🤗

Update, I did it that night with clean hair that was 90% air dried and hallelujah it was pure mermaid when I woke up in the morning! I separated the curls with my fingers and a little Aussie miracle oil, three days later and after several good hair-brushing I still have a soft wave to my hair. I must admit I did think it was a typical too good to be true when I watched the video but thank you Jackie! It’s my new go-to for heatless styling and keeping my hair healthy so thank you! 💗

Heatless curls are my favourite everyday look, I developed a personal technique that works for my very long and fine hair, but I like to test new methods of heatless curls. I've seen this way of doing them a few times on youtube but on damp hair, I tried it but my hair ended really really curled next day, It was so messy! I will give the robe curls a second try thanks to your new version! :D

I've done the no heat curls but on my hair I went back with it instead of straight down so the back part wouldn't be so flat...I also have way shorter hair then you so I needed the curls in the back to make it look good.
I always imagine her bare foot, picking flowers making pies in a cottage house lol
