- I sat down with Patrick Swayze in 1990 during the press tour for "Ghost." We talked about his career game plan when he started out, transitioning from being a dancer to an actor. We discussed the success of "Dirty Dancing," getting ready for the hockey film, "Youngblood," as well as his wife Lisa.
Fun Fact: When Patrick was doing this interview they were shooting the chase scene in Point Break so they used a stunt double.

The man couldn't have said it any better.. it's the process of life that we must enjoy. Not the retirement.. most people don't even know what to do with themselves once they retire because of the routine. And they do seem to give up on life much quicker. The boredom, the great sadness of loosing their significant other. I hope things can change. So we don't have to SLAVE our whole lives to barley survive and then die! Because of this it's hard to enjoy it fully. The hardships and struggle! In all reality we're all just a number!
