I ordered the same hair yesterday :) my appointment in the next few days - my stylist did loc extentions on my hair 6 months ago and my hair was flourishing but after my last retwist she suggested I comb out the loc extentions and get get micro locs because the loc extentions were too heavy for my natural hair as well as my hair texture I cannot wait :) not to mention she is changing $200 for an install 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Your hair looks great !! 🤗🤗

I started mine with Afro Kinky Braids (Extensions). The person who started my first set (My hair) messed them up so bad that I had to cut my hair off, and I just did not have the patience to wait until my hair grew out again. I'm hoping for the best.

When I had these first sets of loc extensions… I only had them in for 2 months and the twist pattern were already disappearing 😊 it’s beautiful honestly ☺️
I retired every 4-6 weeks 😊 and I use wild growth oil or caster oil for my hair, light products so I won’t cause buildup in-between the hair and loc ☺️☺️ I also have a special spray bottle I use with castor oil and water I shake and spray whenever my hair feels a little dry

I honestly use whatever shampoo, and sometimes I let it air dry if I’m in a rush, but I mostly sit under a dryer or hold a blow dryer and dry my hair ☺️ I guess it all depends on the day for me.

Get a 3 part mirror with the led lights installed. Such a lifesaver! I used a 3 part mirror, crochet hook, the one you use for latch hook installs, & hair gel. It will take you at least 3 days minimal unless you want to work extremely slow. I've had mine installed back in March & so far 1 slipped out. Since March Ive washed 3 times & retied once. I ordered QVR hair & I HIGHLY recommend it for installs
Channel wise , for a actual how to install, I recommend watching shardel haden,Mel, the stylistt & keke moyer. They really helped me out when it came time to install.
@@karenray8495 I used FAMILOCS hair brand, I ordered it off Amazon 😊 and I didn’t experience no slippage at all until I started using conditioner so be careful with that, and for the method, I just braided my hair down and added the extensions on to my hair like a feed in, but make sure the extensions are a little bit less than your natural hair so it won’t pull your hair out in the future, and it blends well more naturally as well ☺️

I just lean forward and pull all my hair to the front, and use the scrunchie or ponytail and tie it the best way possible lol(the best way I can )
