Don’t listen to the people who have an issue with the love you give Mitch and Avi, I love when you fanboy over Mitch because Mitch does that to me to, I love the reactors that love on Mitch because it’s how I feel, I also give love and appreciate for every member but Mitch is my favourite, I would never tell a reactor who gives more love to Scott or Kirstin or Kevin, or Avi and Matt to stop because that’s not fair because I give that much love to Mitch. If Mitch and Avi are your favourites that is fine, a lot of people have favourites it doesn’t mean you or any of us love all the members any less it’s just they are your favourites. I subscribed to you because Mitch is one of your favourites like he is mine

I agree. I personally tend to gravitate towards Scott and Matt, so the Mitch fanatic reactors can get a bit annoying, the ones that claim him as extremely above etc. (I can objectively see that Mitch is out of this world. I just don't get as an intense body reaction to him as many do). But Nick is not a fanatic. He has his own human preferences, but he's not blinded. It's veeeeeery rare to see a reactor who has Avi as a favourite that do not minimize Matt, so I respect Nick a lot for him giving Matt his flowers separately from the fact that Avi moves him.

Lol listen, when someone asked the five of them in an interview who was the best singer of the group, THEY all pointed at Mitch (who blushed and tried not to accept the compliment lol). So don't let anyone give you flack saying you love what he does (or Avi, for that matter). Also, anyone who's watched enough of your reactions knows how much you love all of them, so don't worry!
Really love watching your reactions, especially the Superfruit ones. We miss them too, and it's fun to see people discover all they have to offer.
Scott especially has trouble remembering lyrics to songs, even those they do in concert. They now use monitors showing the lyrics when they are on tour. He has made quite a few jokes about it. Thanks for the reaction. Superfruit is always fun to watch.

I think we all would love more Superfruit, but I get why it stopped. At least we have old videos from them to watch and enjoy. I’m a Pentaholic but Mitch is my favorite and you should never feel bad for having a favorite. Love them all and each is a unicorn. Heck, PTX themselves say Mitch has the best voice so you are in Great company.
I agree, they're all incredible and I love them all but there's just this soft spot for Mitch. I don't know if it's his voice or the adversities he overcame to be who he is, but to me and thousands of others, Mitch is just very special.
I think you can love them all and appreciate all of their talents and still have 1 or 2 that gets to your soul and that's okay. I too just melt when I hear Mitch's voice, and it's not that I don't like everyone else in the group, it's just the voice that my ears like best.
oof, i miss Superfruit, too. a part of me still hopes when they have time between projects, they'll come back to it. i know after their original album Future Friends came out, they said in interviews that Superfruit was only just getting started & that they were looking forward to doing more with it in the future. and don't worry about talking "too much" about Mitch & Avi... if you pretended you didn't have preferences, your reactions wouldn't be genuine!! anyway, thanks for doing another superfruit reaction!!!! keep em coming :^D

You can never go wrong with a superfruit video! You're on the same wavelength as all of us with wanting superfruit back. But I think it's healthier for their relationship to not have to act it out for views. Scott has a podcast with a friend (Rozzi! You loved her!) where he talks with talanted and successful people (Ugh... You're so good!) that has a fun but interesting vibe (some ptx members have been their guest). And ptxperience is a bit vlog-like. Not superfruit but lots of sillyness and singing. You really really gotta watch those!
Also, you can tell you're still fairly new.. Because Scott is KNOWN for never knowing lyrics. He's forgotten them to let it snow, and to songs he's written himself. He has the talent and charm to get away with it, but it's a cute quirk of his!
I honestly can't wait for him to see some ptxperience, mostly because I think he's really going to love Matt's personality once he sees them. I feel like there aren't a lot of videos outside of that where you really get to see him being himself and he's so great.

They are all great singers but Mitch's voice is so beautiful it hits me different too.
Scott often forgets the words to songs that he wrote. He has been on stage, away from the view of the monitors not having a clue what the next line of the song was. At least once he has just held the mic out to the audience and let them sing it until he remembers the lyrics again. There are videos "Scott Hoying Trying to Speak" and "Scott Hoying Trying to Speak #2". and then there are times when he sings things like "My change are gone". Or maybe that is like "n'earth". 🤷🏼♀
It is sad but the good thing is they are always there for us to re watch over and over again lol

Um…. Have you never watched the movie Ferris Beuler’s Day Off????? I had difficulty focusing on anything past the introduction. Go watch it! It’s a classic.
I've never watched it, but that movie title has been mentioned in enough American pop culture and media that my Swedish brain over here connected "Ferris" to that movie instantly, even without knowing anything else about it, hhaha.
Story time 😊. I've known of pentatonix since the sing off and I voted for them to win and was so excited once they did. Unfortunately I didn't follow their career and I think it's one of my biggest regrets ☺️. Fast-forward to New Year's day 2021 after a break up I took a deep dive crash course into everything pentatonix and it's been the most magical experience I've ever had. Being a choir kid and discovering all the details about this group just reignited my passion for music and made me realize how much I missed singing and the joy that it brings me. My point in all of this is to say that, while taking my deep dive and learning about the band, especially the story about Mitch and all his trials and tribulations and All the troubles he's had his whole life, it struck a court deep within me. A lot of parallels between him and I, and I connect with him on so many levels. I am not ashamed to say that Mitch Grassi is my number one and always will be ❤️. Not only is his talent out of this world, but his heart is just genuine and pure and so beautiful, and that's what truly captivates me about him. So please don't apologize for following your heart and intuition. There's room to love everyone, but when you know you know and your heart speaks for you. Sorry for the extremely long post, but you're an awesome guy and I really enjoy your reactions. Please continue to do you, haters are going to hate because they don't know any other way of life. Honestly, most of us have at least one member we focus on more. For me, Scott is my favorite member and I personally prefer Matt to Avi. But just because I'm more likely to pay attention to Scott, doesn't mean I don't love and appreciate the other members. Just like you with Mitch and Avi, obviously you focus on them more but you still appreciate the other members as well. I've seen some reactors that almost seem like they only tolerate the other members that aren't their favorite. Like being disappointed that it's a Matt song instead of an Avi song, or disgruntled that Scott or Kirstie did a solo instead of Mitch. In my opinion, as long as there is respect for all members, like you have, a reactor having a favorite (or two) doesn't hurt anything.

I love the cat. ♥ LOL I noticed it walking back and forth behind them and I kept pausing to see it better. It looks like a hairless cat. My son has two cats and one is a hairless. So cool. I always notice the animals. Dogs mostly but sometimes cats. I love music and Pentatonix but I honestly love all animals more. :D I also need to get down my 'blue' lava lamp and fire that baby up again, it's been a long time and just catching dust now. :(
The cat is (was?) called Wyatt Blue. They later had to re-home him, because they were touring so much and Wyatt was getting very unhappy. Mitch said it made him feel like a bad mother.

Mitch does a podcast with his bestie Austin but it's on his Patreon. It's not similar. I mean it's still Mitch, but Scomiche is not duplicate-able. I was just saying on another comment elsewhere that it's hard to listen to Future Friends and not understand it was meant as a coda on Sup3rfruit. Every freaking thing on that album says I love us, but the season has past. It's all just one giant fond goodbye. I love/hate it so much.
I don't know if people don't understand that about Future Friends or if they just don't want to get it. Their dynamic has changed. Not the first time. I'm glad that they can recognize it and still get along with each other. Not everyone can do that.
I've watched some of their more recent livestreams together. I find it a bit painful to see how out of sync they are compared to the Superfruit days. But then 30-somethings just don't act like 20-somethings. They are growing up. I liken it to my own relationship with childhood friends. We are still friends but it's nothing like it was decades ago.
Agree on the Future Friends album! Feels like the tying up of a lot of loose ends.
I feel like Mitch is comfortable to be a bit more himself on his podcast?
I mean, obviously it is still a product just as Superfruit was, and he can still edit out anything that gets anywhere too close to personal. It definitely isn't the real him, and it shouldn't need to be.
But the 45mins to an hour of him chatting about the ups and downs of life and what is on his mind feels a bit more natural, maybe? But who really knows?
Not sure I'm saying it right, but I guess it maybe feels a bit less like he has to hide away less when it is going out to a limited audience of people who are already fans, vs what they were producing for Superfruit as a kind of short edited, fast, upbeat promotional thing. And in what was a very competitive market.
And the same with Scott with his Ugh! You're So Good! podcast. It is longer and he's able to go into more detail.

@@tor_sgith Yes, I agree. I think you said it as well as it can be said. It's a delicate balance for an artist putting themselves out there. We get to see/hear the art, which is revealing, but open to a gazillion interpretations. To be known and not known, right? Hes sharing a lot on the podcast, but he's circumspect, and I appreciate that. I barely knew who the hell I was at 30, but I wasn't both a Self and an artistic commodity. He has his own sort of wisdom from that experience. I'm glad he's careful.
I agree that Scomiche is not duplicate-able. I binged years of PTX and SF during 2020. It looks a bit different when it's condensed. One thing I noticed was Mitch was done with Scomiche way before Scott was. Scott initiated the physical contact about 9 -10 times more frequently than Mitch did. and Mitch was getting (for lack of a better word) annoyed at the whole thing.
@@mmg8823 I can see how that could be an interpretation of what we were seeing, but we were only seeing the frosting. There was, like, a 50 layer cake under there we have no idea about. Mitch is pretty introverted, though, and Scott is more of the marketing person between the two, If I had to guess, which is admirable, but can be a double edged sword for an introvert. They maneuvered through it better than I would have, that's for sure. I was a basket case in my twenties, lol. Whenever I thought I knew what the hell I was doing, I found out I wasn't motivated by what I thought I was motivated by. In other words, I bow to the innate goodness that got them through relatively unscathed - probably - I hope.
Fan Boy away. It's your opinion. Those complaining have different opinions and don't like it when people don't agree. You give props to everyone. Of course Avi gets more attention he has a solo career. More to Fan Boy over LOL.
I love SF and would prefer to let sleeping dogs lie. I believe SF was one of those life stages caught on video. They transitioned through their early twenties, on to a more mature moment in life. Decisions were made. I love them and want them back, but there is one last video where Scott goes over Mitch's and it's awkward and distant. That's not what I want to see.

To be fair, they have had instagram live streams since then that were very comfortable so I think the ending part of superfruit was just part of their growing pains in that changing stage. They seem to have found a new comfortable balance in this new stage of life. And I honestly don't think they would have been able to land there if they had to act their friendship for superfruit. So I'd rather they have a chance at a good friendship at this stage than them starting to do the videos again. I do think that it would be more likely that they would do more music as superfruit than more vlogs, if anything.

@Susan Beck Malloy I totally agree with your thoughts about these Superfruit videos. I think it reflects a moment in time that couldn’t be recreated because times change. I hope they continue to create music/music videos though.
